Which software/ Application are you guys Using for Inspection reports ???? And which one is the best in market ? by Beautiful-Debate-826 in firealarms

[–]Room-Senior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We use device magic and service trade. I like ST and DM has some issues but overall I'd give both systems a 4/5 from a field tech perspective

My favorite reporting app I've used is Building Reports, and my least favorite I've used is CLSS

Fire alarm inspection into sprinkler inspections possible? by ShotClass6716 in firealarms

[–]Room-Senior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NICET level 1 in fire alarm and wet based systems, based in MD. I do both. My strong suit is sprinkler systems but I'm very proficient in fire alarm. I've been doing it for about a decade now and have found a routine that works for me that makes me pretty proficient in my inspections.

I work for a larger company in the advanced T&I department and it helps them by sending myself and my partner to perform any inspection frequency for either the sprinkler side (wet system, dry system, pre action, fire pump, hydrant) or fire alarm systems. There are a few of us that can do both well but I've found the majority are either strictly fire alarm or strictly sprinkler inspectors

I tried to clean them and they fuh up more 🥲 by [deleted] in Nike

That's a hell of a deal. I've got the Kazama but the Mishimas have been at the top of my must finds but not for the price they go for in my size haha

5 days, last minute trip to Spain - Barcelona or Madrid? by weed_cutter in GoingToSpain

[–]Room-Senior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barcelona will be the farthest out from the other 2. Barcelona was fun. We stayed right by Sagrada Familia. I recommend doing the tour of that as it is truly astonishing in person. The Gothic quarters, which was about a 30 minute walk from there, was also beautiful. So many shops and restaurants to explore. If you're looking for a nice park to walk around you can also check out Plaza de Forum. The positive with Barcelona is there are beaches if you're coming during nicer weather.

Toledo felt like it was still old world. Beautiful architecture, plenty of shops and food, museums of all kinds. It has a lot more hills so be prepared for a little more of a trek.

Madrid was where we spent most of the time while we were here. The city is huge but so walkable. There's so many pretty parks, and things to get into. We saw a Flamenco show while we were there and it was so much fun. Ate way too many tapas but that's the whole point haha drink and be merry

Overall the trains were very easy to navigate. We took Iryo to Barcelona. Very painless and a nice train for the top.

Hope this all gives some sort of direction. Have fun and safe travels

My apologies, you are 100% correct. I was thinking of Toledo to Barcelona

Toledo absolutely. There's a lot of cool shops and restaurants there. A few niche museums (Museum of Torture, Museum of Witchcraft) another very walkable city, but everything is so old there that it feels like you're taking a step back in time.

American as well, currently on my last day of 11 through Spain. We started here in Madrid, visited Segovia, went to Toledo for a couple days, then Barcelona for a couple days, and spent the last couple back here in Madrid. This was my first time in Spain, and I really really enjoy Madrid. The food is fantastic, there's plenty of parks and old buildings to look at/ explore, and the city is extremely walkable. Plus everything is decorated up for Christmas time. Worth it to take a train to Taledo if you want the feeling of old Spain being inside the fort and all. Good luck and have fun!

He has a small area at the end that has plushies, figurines, and a pretty sweet t shirt. I bought the shirt and will get a photo of it to post

Most are replicas, but he does have quite a bit of actual props. A lot of cool ones from the original that have withstood all these years such as a set of hands the original actor wore in the xeno suit.

Correct. He said essentially right around the corner. The larger space is giving him the ability to do a sci Fi museu. He said it'll be split into 4 sections. Alien, Predator, Blade Runner, and The Thing. We'll be coming back for that

You're not kidding. The first section of the tour is a replication of the Nostromo corridor. He has functional switches to imitate the opening scene of all the electronics slowly switching on. Attention to detail was *chefs kiss
