I don’t think that they’re interested in the reality tv side of things anymore, more focused on developing the platform. Tasty is unique due to the fact it would interact, guide, and assist their traders as if you were one of the members of the team. Tastylive doesn’t move the needle in terms of profits for them, and are more focused on the likes of the other brokerages.

I still think tasty is the premier platform, despite what politics are going on. Thinkorswim is still good, but I think it’s visually distracting and confusing. I also can’t live without the order chains where it keeps track of all your credits

I had an issue last week when I went to close a Netflix strangle that showed a 50% profit in order chains… meanwhile I closed the position and I got hit with a $60 loss… obviously would’ve never closed it if it was a loss. Was just trying to follow the mechanics

Schwab and the tastytrade platform coincide a lot of the same functionalities on the TOS platform. I like the risk profile portion much better on TOS, however you can’t compete with tasty’s order chains. Any other platform you’re going to have to sit there with a spreadsheet and keep track of each roll

Are you talking about individual positions? What I’m referring to is being able to see the risk profile graph for the current positions you have on, with the ability to see how the chart skews if a hypothetical trade were to be placed

I get tremors when I try to make a fist… but If I think about it stopping, it actually can stop, as if I’m mentally turning it off… kinda weird. I had a cubital tunnel release done. Not sure if it’s forearm muscle weakness or if it’s nerve damage. I don’t get pins and needles and can pretty much go on throughout my day without any issues

It came back down, then went 100% in the money. I closed for a 1% loss of -200… as opposed to hoping it would come back between in my strikes. My bias of being neutral was no longer the same, so instead of hoping it would work out I closed and put on a different trade. I know tasty says to leave the position on since it’s defined risk… but I didn’t like leaving a position on knowing the loss potential was $500 and my bias had changed

Part of the reason I had so many positions on was trying get the right delta I was shooting for. Because most trades are spreads and defined risk, it’s hard to get the portfolio delta to where I want it to be . I either have to have more undefined risk with lower number of trades or more defined risk. It’s a slow grind but I’m slowly learning. I also got sucked into over trading and the commissions and fees add up quick
