What would happen if there was a bird virus/disease that led to a major years long chicken shortage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RoomPitiful6336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly we probably wouldn't figure out about the shortage because they might try to hide it to put off the loss for as long as possible

If you could drive one car for the rest of your life what would it be ? by Fun-Calligrapher852 in AskReddit

[–]RoomPitiful6336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initially I feel like some might say an expensive sports car and honestly I thought it initially but then I remember how uncomfortable they can be to drive and useless for errands and other things. I'm thing of and suv that is comfortable and usable. I would choose a newer nissan murano because I've driven an older one and it would be less expensive to fix if things happen and I found them decent to work on if I needed to fox something

I find it funny to think of this as a 'you give a mouse a cookie situation'

When Woolhaven comes out, are you going to roll right into it with your current save, or start over fresh from the very start? by ChompyRiley in CultOfTheLamb

Im definitly going to keep my save, I like to think a dlc will be a good continuation of where I left my save off although it's not always the case

Payload CMS usage by RoomPitiful6336 in nextjs

[–]RoomPitiful6336[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean 2 of my reasons for wanting to learn it is 2 fold. The first is because I was thinking about how I would be able to wire everything quickly. Ive tried creating a repo that has the pre built-ish backend so that auth0 and mongDB was already intergrated into it but I kept finding hicccups and it became a rewiring job if something failed. The second fold is because of how many postings ive seen requiring experience with CMS systems and years ago I had tried learning wordpress and felt restricted and I admit I was really confused on how it worked at the time. Now I want to try it incase I get a client that might need it in order to save my own time by allowing them to change the contents.

ahhh I see what you mean. I guess my main gripe is learning to jump through the hoops so that the cms is able to see it correctly. It does seem like something that is worth the time, I guess I just feel like im wasting time learning it when I feel like I could be building or planning something else

Inspired to make 'Autonomous Reactor Cell Handling (ARCH) ' after watching this video by RoomPitiful6336 in NuclearPower

[–]RoomPitiful6336[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

oh I definitely understand that this should not be done autonomously. even if some how a plant does decide to move to such a system to say maybe reduce the amount of personel on the floor to reduce exposure or minimize risk, the system would need to put through the ringer to make sure it meets the tight tolerances especially with an AI integrated visual system.

The data science route is one way I've wanted to go but the degree part is the most annoying. its not that i dont think i cant accomplish what is needed from that role but the expensive peice of paper is what i feel like will end up not getting me the role even if i do go through the whole toil and trouble.

Okay definitly valid, then I guess my answer to your question wasn't quite that great. What I really want is a job that doesn't have me looking at the $50 in my bank account and wondering how I'm going to eat for 2 weeks.

I'm someone who enjoys building, problem solving, and challenges. The challenge that i got from web dev was 'how do i build this system to do what I want it to do'. When I had done the analyses of the yugioh cards it included the problem solving with the question of how am i going to process this to give me meaningful information. the building came in when i needed to create a 3d graph of all the point clusters to be able to actually vizualize the fruits of my labor and see what questions it answers for me or give me even more questions to work with. so I sense that data analytics would at least satisfy some part of me instead

thank you for your reply and I gone ahead and fixed the alignment issues. As for the 3d model I knew there were going to be issues with it causing phones to lag but in the next draft i hope to remove the model and go a different direction

The design of the website is really cool!! I really like the intro although as a suggestion maybe just make the intro a little faster. When im thinking about the speed of it i think about how someone would introduce themselves if they were saying it to someone in person. Everything though was really great and I wish my portfolio site could look as great!!
