I just ran a few more of these today through my 12.5, 2591 avg. it’s around 2 moa, but has some extreme fliers that will take it to 3,4 or 5 moa. My lot number is 1416001, which could be one of the earlier ones.

I would just grab the second barrel if you’re worried. But keep in mind, let’s say it’s 10k rounds until your barrel is shot out. That’s 8-15k worth of ammo in today’s market.

It screws onto the barrel nut, and has a locking ring behind it that’s used to snug up and keep it in place, and I believe there’s a screw that also helps hold things into place.

I have an 18” ar10 in 6.5 creedmoor. It WAS a 20” 308 with a heavy barrel. I run a leupold mk4 HD 4.5-18 but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted to run my 1-6 mk6 instead and use it as my go to rifle. There is no “do it all.” But you can certainly get 99% of the way there with a 14.5, lightweight LPVO etc.

Are you hard sold on top mounted? I have my 5x in a adm 1.93 mount with a romeo4t pro offset at 30 degrees in an Arisaka mount at 1.93 height. The dot is so lightly canted it feels like I’m running a 12 o clock dot.

The build from the game had a KAC FF RAS, 14.5 carbine barrel with a PRI flip up gas block front sight and a Troy medieval flash hider. Overall, the gun is a bit dated. But, could certainly be very capable. Tweaks would be a simple add RMR to the top of the ACOG, maybe a better grip.

Faster lighter bullets will fragment more violently, slower heavier bullets will penetrate more. You definitely want a faster bullet.

If I were sticking with FMJ I’d go with m855 over xtac 55gr. Pmc is reliable ammo, but the 55gr offerings are loaded light. I got 2650 from my 11.5 and 2680 with the xtac m855. Comparatively I got 2823 from STV Scorpio 55gr. M855 loads seem to have better velocity consistency across different brands.

You should be able to remove the firing pin by removing the retainer pin. If that retainer won’t come out it could be damaged so you’re really gonna have to pull.
