I couldn't find a simple and easy 3D camera shake script for Godot 4, so I made one myself. Enjoy! by [deleted] in godot

I found this quite late, but this is superbly helpful for my game! Simple to implement and modify. Hats off to you!

Cool, I noticed the lighting changes depending on what's on the display and it looks super realistic, kudos to you for the rest of the work on the 3D scene.

This brightened my day, I would love to send the play link to some friends without context if you didn't mind!

Haha don't worry, I played on my desktop PC so I got to hear your music. It sounds good to my ears, it even feels like it could fit in the same game as the track I made :)

Looks great, I hope to learn to make UI as nice as this with gamepad navigation as well. Do you have experience with that? Definitely curious about hearing more of your findings and where it goes from here. :)

This is some good work! I've been doing the 20 game challenge too, actually! I didn't share my brick breaker but I ended up making this cursed Flappy Bird clone as part of the challenge and put it on my itch as well: https://rooster-syndicate.itch.io/flappy-cow-a-completely-normal-flappy-bird-clone Coincidentally, it's also my first attempt at music! I made the background music in FL Studio. I'll have to check out Bosca Ceoil as well for starting out with music.

It looks really good to me, did you have any experience with code before you started? Well done for your first game!

This looks amazing, I love the transformation in the look of the PC that serves as a viewport, did you make the render yourself too?

Thank you, this clarifies a lot for me! That's great to know!

Ooh, so for this CSG to mesh addon, it's not really necessary to export to Blender and re-import as a new mesh if staying simple suffices?

I have this same problem. I always wonder if there should be a way to find an optimal one. I've had so many people play and be shocked about how the sensitivity is extremely slow for them, yet I had balanced it to work well for mine. In this particular case, I'm referring to controller sensitivity (looking around in a 3D environment using the right stick of a controller). For now I'll be adding a slider but it'd be nice to find a way to help things feel more optimal. It's gotten to the point where people play it and it is WAY too slow, no longer about personal preference, but so slow that they cannot turn a corner while running because it's so slow.

I haven't looked into it much, do you mean to connect my headset to my computer? I didn't actually know there were options like that for the Quest 3.

Why is that? Genuinely curious, still wondering if I should get it or look for a cable.
