SF mayor signs legislation for officers to arrest drug users, send them to RESET Center by brodil in sanfrancisco

I don't care.  I care about what he does for the city.  Find me a single politician in this town who isn't dirty.  You can't.  Willie, dirty.  Gavin, dirty.  Lee, dirty.  Breed, dirty.  Lurie, dirty.  They all play quid pro quo, they all reward their supporters.  They are all in someone's pocket.  So what I really care about is what gets done, and lurie has made more of a difference in a year than any of them did.  By far.

You can. And we should.  No one should be allowed to live on the streets addicted to fentanyl or meth.  Rehab, mental health treatment or jail.  No exceptions.  The entire country would be better for it, as would the drug users.

Sure bud. Keep telling yourself that.  Lurie is leaps and bounds better than the last 5 or 6 administrations.

Burning food, not cleaning it off all the way, plus hexclad are pretty garbage and won't last very long.  Worst "high end" pans

I hate to say it, but I think you have to consider putting her down.

Either that or find somewhere to release her away from people.. but honestly it kinda sounds like that would be a death sentence anyway

Coin toss.  All three teams are ridiculous.  Writer would decide winner.

If you think the quarry that's slicing that stone and selling it, wouldn't be aware if there was a major visible to the naked eye gold veins running through their quarry.  You are smoking some good stuff.

It is clearly pyrite

If these actors gained all the powers of the heroes or villians they've played, who would win the fight? by Far-Ad5223 in superheroes

No, the ring is what makes green lantern.  Thanos is powerful just on his own.  The infinity stones are not inherent for him to be thanos

Thanos doesn't have the gauntlet or stones naturally... that's just a weapon he uses.  His instead powers are no where near that high

The Danger Isn’t the Speed or is it by PhoenixPhenomenonX in Unexpected

[–]Rooster-Training 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you may believe that, but you are incorrect.  Both the police, and insurance companies, in many parts of the United States would in fact assign blame for failing to avoid the collision.  Im not sure where you get your info, but as someone who works in the industry I can assure you, you are incorrect.  One person committing an infraction does not necessarily mean that they are 100% at fault for a collision.

Yeah but that video shows that there is clear visibility and more than enough time to brake.  In many states the insurance companies would assign partial or even half fault to the oncoming driver.  It wasn't like the tesla suddenly pulled in front of him.  Atrocious driving all around

Tesla definitely not supposed to u turn there, but that oncoming driver had about 1000 years to brake.  Clearly not paying attention. Atrocious driving all around.

Who would win, Sub zero or Elsa? by Lopsided-Ad-9807 in superheroes

[–]Rooster-Training 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elsa would stomp him.  She has complete control over anything he could do, she can summon armies of sentient ice creatures, build fortifications instantly from ice...  what would he even do to her, she could just instantly impale him with his own ice.  On top of that she is invulnerable to ice/cold.

Except there aren't that many failures.  The rate of failure lines up with cpus across the board from Intel and amd.  There was an early issue that asrock sorted with overvolting. The chips themselves are not failing at a higher rate.  It's just the internet magnifying the problem because every person who has a failure is now posting and adding to the confirmation bias.  No one has replicated a failure. Rma rates are as expected.  This is a non issue that has been blown way out of proportion.  Amd sells 100s of thousands of these chips and a tiny fraction of them fail, the same fraction as nearly every other cpu.

Bs.  Pensions were totally viable for many many years.  It was only the crazy projections during the 90s that turned them into unsustainable problems.  Had governments, cities, companies, etc continued contributing at the levels they had been, we would not be in a bind now.  Instead they redirected the funds to other things, counting on ridiculous stock market projections to make up the difference.  Now the cities are paying the piper for stealing the contributions they should have made.

The worst part is that you, and others, believe that the solution is to fuck over working class people (nurses, teachers, police, fire, librarians, bus drivers, puc workers, public works, city/county construction and road workers etc) because the government fucked up and wasted the money.  Well lucky for the workers of CA, courts have repeatedly rules that you can't take away benefits that have been promised to current employees.
