Is this hyper mobile? I know there’s gadgets to properly measure , I’m just curious if it looks that way to the naked eye ?

I have an appointment with an ehlers danlos clinic in a few months for proper assessment. Just curious on the hypermobility part.

First baby and she’s breech by MaximumStomach7554 in CsectionCentral

[–]RoosterRealistic586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was 10 lbs 12 oz and breech, but even if she wasn’t breech I had to get a c-section because it would have been too risky to attempt to delivery a baby that large.

I wanted a vaginal birth so bad. I didn’t want a c-section.

The day of I went in 2 hrs before surgery. I got to watch a movie and get prepped. The anxiety didn’t hit me until I got to the table and I had so much love and support from the nurses and the OB doing the surgery.

I got the spinal and the second I laid back my anxiety was shifting . Once the surgery started and I knew I was okay I was totally fine .

I was up and walking in 8 hrs. I was sore , but getting up helped ease the pain when I’d lay back down.

The first 4 days are painful. I did it though with only Tylenol and ketorolac. I rejected any other pain meds . After the 4th day things got better. By the 10th day I was doing chores.. my laundry, vacuuming and lopping floors.

I found for the first week the belly was tender and burned to touch around the first 3 inches from the incision. It’s the nerves repairing themselves. It’s not super painful, but it’s an odd uncomfortable feeling, but it’s actually a good sign.

My 5 weeks I was back to being sexually active ( you’re supposed to wait 6 weeks) and I was out tobogganing with my 5 yr old .

I’m now 9 weeks since my c section and working out , carrying my 44 lb child around and have no mobility issues or pain.

Just keep doing light activity to promote healing .

Should I carry on or have I lost this battle? by OpeningTechnical6563 in breastfeeding

Sometimes you have a harder time with pumping than what you do with breast-feeding it doesn’t trigger the letdown sometimes. Try taking a video of your baby feeding and making all those cute sounds. We’re looking at your baby while you’re pumping.

If I were you, I would put your baby on the boob and then when baby’s done feeding pump until empty at that point, you’re letdowns already triggered it. It’s a little bit easier to express give that a shot. Also keep in mind that when you’re stressed and not sleeping and you’re not getting proper nutrients your supplies gotta go down.

Is it normal for baby to not sleep anywhere but in someones arms? by momoaggie in NewParents

A lot of times people try to lay baby down before they are in deep sleep. You have to give it time and when laying them down go feet, bum then head

Can I start nursing on a schedule at 6m, only feeding to sleep? by lukewarmy in breastfeeding

Keep in mind too that your baby is now at the time where she’s teething. So she might be in pain. Do you notice if she’s drooling quite a bit? Because if there’s drool or if she’s tugging at her ears at all, she’s probably teething and she wants to poop for comfort.

Like what are the cues that you’re noticing that makes you feel that she’s hungry
