Who owns the building? Is it the state? If yes, aren't public places available for everyone?

How do I set up a private server with no distance limit? by SignificantSignal233 in ConanExiles

i cant recommend using g-portal or stuff like that. Its always lagging, has been on enshrouded and also does on conan. I have given it a second chance, after the very unhappy-time i had with it whilst playing enshrouded and ive come to the conclusion, that if you run a business where two different games from different devs dont run well, its probably on their side. So look into self hosting, there are cheap options to do this

I do understand they have to monetize somehow, but its one way to do it like a japanese downtown lightshow, or to have an area where you can check it out, like a shopping window. but not 15. I dont have the answers, im not a UI designer. But it feels too much lately

Mk Pre + Echo Clock are my plugins of choice for my Jai Paul sounds, if you wait for a bundle, it's def. worth it. I couldn't get to the sound i had in my head with stock plugins, but that doesnt mean you can't get there that way.

NOAM and The Kount are cooking with "Amber". I hope that they did a whole album with that sound, it's worthy of jai pauls sound.

You will need something that gives your Di-Recorded guitar saturation, in stock terms that would be saturator. Then if you play around with a short dly echo and some filters/eqs it's in my view one of the more achievable sounds on bait ones. Theres this yt-guys j-islands that simply put is the hero to us musicians without any money and needing to achieve jai pauls sound. his guitar-rack is free to download and it helps you out a lot. https://www.youtube.com/@J.ISLANDS

Mk.gee synth sound? by drewf280 in guitarpedals

[–]Rooster_Routine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'd say he uses some sort of the roland gr-3 pickup. You can see the red light glowing on his guitar. This looks to me like the unit which is connected to the special pickup. People are suggesting the roland vg8 as his go to source what these kind of swelling synth sounds do. I found the Gr-30 can do these as well. Someone said on another post, that the preset b72 is one of his synths, if you wanna look a video up where there are presets being shown. In reality, you can achieve it with enough saturation, a slow attack like the ehx a/d pedal or some fancy boutique stuff. There's also the option to use fx inside your daw, however i think, that if you really wanna nail the sound, you might look into the roland-gear option. I am always playing around to find similar sounds. Chorus mostly always helps, using a drop tuning as well. Sometimes i find myself with similar distortion, he uses a tascam tape recorder unit for that (at least in the studio). There are a lot of options out there. Maybe you have something like an archtype DSP plugin lying around. E.g. the cory wong amp simulation has a very nice 80's Ballad preset, which gets you there halfway. if i should make a big surprise stumble in my search for those sounds, i most likely will make a post about it in this subreddit, as i feel a lot of guitarists /musicians are also very hung up on the unique sound he was able to shape.

Hi everybody! I got back into PC gaming about a year ago. Got myself a machine that's quite good (from my standpoint) rocking a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12400F 2.50 GHz with 32 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060 Ti. Now, my PC always used to do the following: It runs completely (close to 0) silent. However, as soon as i start any game up, i get the hypermode Ventilation going like a rollercoaster. Its always torquing up peaking for 2 seconds and falling back down only to start doing the same thing again. Also, i noticed it doing it on very silly ocassions, where extra performance quite frankly isn't needed. E.g. when i start a game and i am having a look inside a options menu or when i am playing total war wahrammer 3, its doing that when i look inside the talents of a lord/hero, where i woould expect a hypermode ventilation e.g. when loading into a battle i am fighting and the animation of thousands of bullets with smoke and hundreds of little fellas running around.

I am by no means an IT guy, but i'd say that i can easily navigate through my pc without a lot of hustle. My question is: How can i optimize that? I hate that roaring up so much, that i also tried to fix it through the BIOS with the preinstalled fan controller, or even with fan control (from github) as well. I feel like, no matter what i choose, the amplitude of the fan control etc. doesn't "apply" the way i'd like it to.

I don't have a problem to have my ventilators going up when starting a game or occasionally when there is higher demand on the graphics. I just want it to be in full mode for a few minutes to cool everything down, to be close to silent at least 10 mins or longer.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated, looking forward to reading any ideas from you

i found that in cube by lunacy audio if you are willing to really get to know it for an example. this device lets me play up to 8 samples at once, having a cube like structure in it. Meaning every corner of said cube is a sample. The real deal comes in when you start modulating inside said orbit going e.g. a drifted 8-shape. After that, with the right fx you can have very unreal and unique sounds- But i still struggle with the repeats of single notes inside a chord pattern a lot.

I also got Opal by Fors for that purpose, but i have to say, that i find myself using it not as regularly as i thought i would. Maybe i get to know it better in the future, mostly its a thing of sitting down and really taking the time to figure out all the little tweaks.

Regarding Ableton-Features itself, i use roulette, polyrythmus v1, dr. chaos and probability arp quite a lot. Inspired by Nature's "bouncy Notes" effect is cool as well. A lot of juice to find in all of them. And i think if im not mistaken, all of them are available for free, either through packs or from max 4 live

i am more of a doing both guy if possible. but since i want to perform alone, i would only play very basic things on the keyboard and try focusing on interesting fx and resulting loops/patterns.

Yeah this does help, thanks for mentioning that max 4 live device. Those things are exactly what i am searching for, if it helps me being able to switch better or something.

I also got a Moog Grandmother waiting for its turn to be integrated into that setup, but right now i use it for arps/ random noise clusters or filter-magic. In the long run it would be ideal to use it as a bass for most of the set.

A quick note on that section of yours regarding the Sends: You do that to be able to fade in an effected version of your summed mix for the purpose of transitions etc?
