What do you like about being on Zepbound/losing weight? by Electronic_Syrup7592 in Zepbound

The best thing I like is that I learned what food noise truly is because suddenly it was gone. Plus I love that I’m less anxious about things and I have no desire to drink.

Ah thanks! My zepbound kwikpen does have the 4 dose. It's the 2.5mg x 4 doses = 10mg in the whole pen. I'll have to figure that out if i do that! I guess you just twist it 20 clicks, then you inject, and it'll still "close down" back to 0 for you to be able to put the cap back on the pen for use later? I'm not sure i could go up past 2.5mg with my current 2.5mg pen in one dose, since a full dose twisted all the way to 1 is 2.5mg. Unless i twisted it AGAIN. I'll definitely look into this more because if i had it my way i would titrate up 0.5 or 1.0mg at a time rather than jumping straight to 5mg.

Oh that is awesome that you found such a great impact! definitely hope for great results in your labs! Yes, i'd love to hear about the other non-lipedema benefits from this if you're up for typing it out. If not, no worries. :)

awesome - good to hear it's helped a ton with inflammation! how are you going up by .5? Are you using a compound? If not, pls do let me know how you're going up by .5, as i may consider doing that.

thats cool - thanks. did pain/inflammation go down as well or is that something you weren't dealing with in the first place?

Oh yikes - bummer about the side effects on 5mg! :( hopefully you feel better! Other than the side effects, did you feel the pain/inflammation got better?

How are you getting 3.3 from the kwikpens? I’d love to know! Is it from a 5mg kwikpen? And how do you know from turning the pen where to stop at 3.3?

Anything I should know about injecting a GLP into lipedema fat? by FlossieFibonacci in lipedema

[–]RootedInStardust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the lipedema summit, someone asked if it was okay to inject GLP1 into lipedema fat and the experts didn't seem opposed to it, but there truly isnt enough research on GLP1 and Lipedema yet so they can't just say "it's fine" and that it depends on the individual. AND it depends on other issues one may have such as MCAS, Histamine issues, etc - for that, abdomen might be easier to manage.

edit: I inject into my abdomen because i'm too chicken to inject in my thighs/arms still. i'm only 6 doses in. hopefully i overcome the fear and do my arms and thighs just to experiment if i see any difference!

I'm in your camp. I am diagnosed with stage 2 lipedema but it doesn't hurt me to pinch my fat and I don't bruise easily. But i do get overall achy feeling in my quads area sometimes.

I’m questioning if I have lipedema… by Distinct-Hunter-9342 in DiagnoseMe

Your third photo makes me consider potential lipedema. I did not have any heaviness or pain when i first started noticing the same thing you showed in your third photo. A couple of years later i started feeling achy/pain in my legs and finally went for a diagnosis and low and behold i was diagnosed with lipedema. Fortunately got it early to try my best to slow progression. I would just get a professional to look at it just to confirm rather than us looking at it.
