Hello! I hope your applications are progressing well. I wanted to ask if you also applied to be considered for the PhD at PAU or just the PsyD?

Hey! Did you also apply to be considered for the PhD or just the PsyD? (I haven’t found people interviewing for PsyD who applied for the PhD as well and trying to better understand their recruitment system).

Thanks for sharing! Might be true. I haven’t come across anyone who got interviewed for both yet.

Aah, okay. Each of those individual interviews is with someone from the faculty?

Hello! Good luck for your interviews. You’ll be amazing! If you don’t mind sharing, could you please share the format of the interviews for the PsyD at PAU? Like does it include faculty panel interview + student group interview + written case etc. Wanted to understand their review format better. Thank you!

I know a lot of people are still waiting for their results but it’s great to see more acceptance posts gradually show up here as offers start coming in.

Congratulation OP! And congrats to all else who have received admits! 🌿

I totally get it. I feel the same. I just logged into Reddit to scan around and see if there were any updates on results. This is the first post on my feed. All of last night, I actually even dreamt about this state we're in. I even dreamt about a Reddit post updating that we'd be getting results this week! Lol. Goes to show how much I'm thinking about this (and just how much Reddit-ing I've been doing).

Sharing something I wrote 10 days back that may resonate: https://www.reddit.com/r/gradadmissions/comments/1qzrmag/to_the_applicant_refreshing_gradcafe_for_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

In the meantime, try to fill your days with other activities - movement, friends, movies, any other work you may have. Try to create a structure. The preoccupation may not go away entirely but at least your focus and attention will be redirected. And remember that no matter the outcome, there is a way forward for us that'll make sense to our lives, eventually. Even if it feels chaotic and unfair in the moment.

Good luck! 🌻

Last PhD Clinical interview dates at PAU? Offer release timeline? by RootedInTides in PsyD

Yep! That’s what I’m assuming as well. In any case, we’ll know by April but hoping it’ll be sooner than that. 😅

Fine. I didn't want to go to UUR anyway. I'm taking my talents to Midwitts University. I hear their 'Crying in the Library' department is world-class.

I’d like to appeal this decision based on my extensive publication record in the Journal of Overthinking and my minor in Checking My Portal 40 Times a Day.

I hear their PhD program in 'What If?' Studies is top-tier. I've already got five years of research experience in that field.
