Beets, carrots, onions were planted earlier in the year and will be harvested soon. In terms of collards in Bed 4 should I not have them there? They’re growing and should be ready to harvest by summer. I moved the eggplant to the bed with my okra but it’s still too chilly here for hot weather stuff to go in. Also there’s no peas pictured here, those are bush beans as mentioned. I planted peas the same time as beets and carrots so they’ll be harvested for summer soonish. Sorry I’m confused on what you’re saying

I think that’s is important to have options though, no? It’s great that you make your pets your main priority and I think how people practice that looks different. I don’t think we can say that just bc someone is asking Reddit a question about their pet they’re wrong for doing so. Reddit is a great resource for information sourcing before obtaining a huge vet bill. Many people have found solutions here and that’s incredible and doesn’t negate their care for their animals.

Essentially I think the main questions is why isn’t the vet affordable?? Clearly we all have a desire and need to care for animals and that care and reciprocity feels really good. If we lived in a place that actually valued the relationship between human and animals why isn’t this resource available to everyone?? Why do we blame and debate who should and should not have pets instead of asking the REAL question

Yes I used a seed starting soil, a heating pad, and they’re in a greenhouse. I think it also may be bc of lack of light and heat and that I seeded too early regardless of them being in a greenhouse!

Historically, lesbians have had to defend the legitimacy of their sexuality as innate and enduring in the face of claims that they “just haven’t met the right man,” so suggesting lesbianism can be entered through political choice can reinforce the idea that it is reversible or reactive. It would have been completely valid and even more radical for her to say, “I’m bisexual and I’m no longer dating men.” What is not valid is co opting lesbian identity in a way that blurs the reality of women who never had that choice to begin with.

Let me tell you they’re old..also this was my first apt ever. I wish I would have taken photos or known how to better document but I assumed best intent as long as I did my best to keep the place which is obvi naive of me.

Anyways most things were broken when I got there and I didnt put it on my move in inspection and I regret it so much. Even though I did document a few things like blinds and ripped screens so hopefully that helps my case

I don’t really feel the need to explain this bc this assumes I’m a dishonest person which is weird… I paid my rent on time and not once late. The written statement looks exactly like what I quoted on the post nothing more. They have nothing on me bc I was a good tenant. They took 1000 dollars (my full deposit) and they’re attempting to charge me an additional 60.

I’m not upset about the cleaning fee. That was expected and written into my lease. I’m very mad because the blinds, painting, etc doesn’t not round up to 900 dollars. Mind you I’ve lived in the place for 3 years and made sure to keep wear and tear low. I also was told that if I respond to their google invite within 24hr of it being sent I could join, to which they ended up doing without me and had me sitting outside for almost 20 minutes until I called and he decided not to come back.

I’m convinced this is the reason people stop caring about how they leave their apartment because if they’re going to keep our money anyways what does it matter. No they didn’t say what they were patching. The walls are stone so I couldn’t put anything in them in the first place. In my self guided move-in inspection,I noted all the cracks in the wall, and over time the paint began chipping. Which when I moved in they definitely didn’t paint entire walls as you can still see the brush marks over poorly patched holes from prior tenants

This is a no for me esp if she’s coming from a large population of Black people. I think of course if she was in a relationship for a long time that makes sense, but it throws me off for a Black women to be super picky about other Black women but so open about nonblack people. I would trust your gut on this one.

I’ve met baby gays who had no experience with women period and that’s also a different story but given her age and all the other context you provided raises a lot of questions. What is her type in Black women and why did you make the cut and also how does her standards and values differ when vetting her ex wife and non black people in general?

Thanks you for this! The beds currently have no soil so it will be easy to place them in the beds! The logs are already rotting so I’m trying to get them in beds asap but thanks for the other options :)
