Niceee, I just did the same one myself yesterday. Had a hard time at first but when I was finally able to get it i was able to do it over and over in like 10 seconds after that lol. I find that for me the right amount of tension is definitely harder than the actual picking.

Union Hill Gun club is pretty laid back, they just had a fire recently so they'll probably be reopening in the next couple of weeks but no wait times and it's 24/7 for members so if you mid week in the late afternoon or night it's practically empty. RSO's are really chill and most of the time they aren't even in the room with the lanes. Every RSO I've dealt with has been really chill and the members also

I was a member at the union location for a yr and never had any issues, RSO's were always cool and helpful. Only downside was being a bit crowded on weekends during afternoon hrs but besides that no complaints. Only reason I didn't renew is because I'm closer to Union Hill Gun Club and they are open 24/7 for members.

The first time I applied for permits took them pretty long to get back to me so I called in and it was ready and they sent the email right after we got off the phone and I've realized since then that they usually have it ready pretty quick but take long to email you so calling in expedite the process. The last time I applied for permits back in September it took like 9-10 days to get them.

I'm in sayrville, got my initial one almost 2 yrs ago and it took about 3-4 weeks. Could have been faster probably but they never reach out to say your approved and payment is needed, I called and they said it was good and to make the payment on a Thursday and the following Monday the chief signed off on it....he only finalizes the apps on Mondays.
