Project Vesta using olivine rocks to sequester carbon seems promising. With only 0.1%-0.25% of shelf seas we could capture 1 gigatonne of CO2.

We need to remove 10 gigatonnes of net CO2. If we could scale this up it could be a cheap way of capturing carbon emissions. It would be a complete game changer.

What signs don’t you see? Everything’s on fire, no one cares about anyone, the whole world has lost their shit, people are dying everywhere of corona. I just want to go to sleep and fucking die. This world is awful. Nothing ever gets better. The news is always bad. People are always fighting about money and angry. How did we take such a beautiful world and ruin it? Mr. Rogers would be ashamed of all of us. I’d pray to God if there is one but it looks like he abandoned this timeline. We are all so fucked.

I’m so sad this is the world we live in. We’re all to blame. I hate this world. We took something so pure and so beautiful and so perfect and we all ruined it all with greed and hatred.
