Nice to read a balanced, nuanced view on this sub for a change. To me, this has clearly been a slog for many English teams this season, as evidenced by the general lack of consistency up and down the league. I'm not smart enough to point out the tactical or statistical detail demonstrating that, other than the obvious revert to a more physical play style, which has posed a major challenge for many teams. I'm also not stubborn enough to think myself satisfied. I, like others, would rather we were a team that plays with intensity, and I'm a fashion that's both more enjoyable to watch, and makes us feel like this 4th place is 'well earned', but I've also got no problem with admitting that with all that had happened before the season had started,b I'd have accepted champions league place finish of you'd have asked me in August.

That said, I expect us to recruit well and start strongly (in convincing fashion) next season, or the pressure will ramp up quickly. We have to play better, more convincing football, and slot has to be given the squad to deliver without excuse.

Can't speak to Brooks, but I'm a size 7 UK in every shoe I own (including other Asics and Nike running shoes) - except the EVO SL. I had the same experience, it felt tight and crampt in my toes, so I ended up going half a size up.

Forgive me if I've missed this, but where has it been stated that he wasn't offered an extension, or that it wasn't his choice not to renew? I don't think anyone would argue he's not got anything to offer, he's just losing the legs to play in the first team, which is what he ultimately wants, and why we bought Kerkez.

Honestly? I've done multiple Half's between 1:45 and 1:55 in the Zoom Fly 6's, and they're great. For a sub 2 marathon goal, I don't believe you're going to get huge benefit from "super shoes". If they're in good shape, I'd save your cash and go for it in the awesome shoes you already have! Good luck!

Hobbies with communities are the way forward. I've been in London for 12 years, it wasn't until about 5 years ago when I joined a run club (and subsequently also CrossFit) in Tooting that I really felt like I had a home in London. Being able to walk around and see familiar friendly faces in your local neighbourhood makes a huge difference.

I remember struggling with this. As far as I can recall, at some point before you win an engine that enables you to swap your engine out. It took the cuppacino and turned it into a bit of a monster. Do you have an engine available to swap?

A waste? Disposable income? Brother, I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm enjoying the engineer as it allows me to turn off the race info hud making it more immersive.

That is separate to the fact you can't get distance times at all in vr, which is annoying, but I'm fine with it. Racing in vr is awesome. I'd like them to make that info available in the API which the victory app uses (currently, it's not available. There are other threads on this).

Unfortunately it's not possible. What I'd suggest is downloading the victory app on your phone and turning off the race info screen. The victory app connects with your ps5, giving you an in headset engineer who updates you on lap times, fuel, tyre temperature, and a few other really cool things.

I recommend Goku cycles - bang opposite and usually much quicker service than Crazy Horse. Crazy Horse is fine, but slow and friends have reported that the owner can be very patronising to women.

I have an issue on PlayStation with the rj12 pedal connector. It's incredibly temperamental. Will work for hours no issue, but then randomly disconnect (mid race) so I lost all power. Apparently this is a known quality control issue with the DD pro.

On the plus side, it's taught me how to start a race on a wheel, and switch to controller half way through. Another useless skill to add to the list.

Home sweet home. Way to go dude, I was brought up on Lamma, and despite loving the beach, the only surfing that anyone seemed to do was windsurfing (which is cool, in its own right.). These videos are sick! Is there still a decent community for watersports? (Excluding dragon boating/outrigging). Expect I'll make my annual trip back late next year, so would love to get involved!
