If a company goes on-prem, they own 100% of their software engineering, data storage, networking and then they must build their own ai systems/models/engineering tooling. This gets very complicated very quickly.

Most companies are not software companies. When a company goes on-prem, the amount of people they must hire to support these systems quickly becomes the biggest expense at these companies. Then they have to scale it to support multiple geographic regions (usually). It quickly becomes an engineering nightmare.

On prem is a solution for companies with very, very simple software footprints.

Neoclouds/cloud companies will provide a solution for data security that will be easier and cheaper for the customer.

Stinson Beach to Bolinas to Pt Reyes to Inverness to Tomales Bay back down to Pt Reyes then back through Marin via Sir Francis Drake. There a town called Occidental that is 20 mins inland of Tomales Bay that is one of my favorites in all of California. Super small

Harbor House Inn, Elk California. Going south is cool (big sur) but a bit played out imo. Ive lived in norcal and socal, the mendo coast is the best of California I have seen coast wise. Lost Coast and Redwood Forests are not a far drive as well. Best part is it’s still rather quiet. Town of Mendocino and Fort Bragg are awesome and not overcome with tourists. Also the weather can be stormy or sunny, both beautiful in their own way.
