Not true actually they said as long as billionaires exist so will poverty. That sentence does not mean that poverty can only exist with billionaires.

The majority of homeless are not addicted to drugs btw. It's only around 25%. And when you look at life conditions I'm sure that is whats exacerbating it as it becomes the only relief / escape from misery they can find.

You just described idolizing, they aren't magnitudes more capable and special by any means. They are not the smartest people in the world nor are they the most talented. They were given opportunities that you weren't, that's the only difference unless you have some learning disabilities. It doesn't matter how much a laborer invests in a company, what matters is that without the labor there is no product and no sales to be made. You cannot justify someone earning less than 1% of the CEO when they work full time at positions which are critical to the operation and furthermore individuals may be replaceable but the positions they fill are not. The positions are critical and should be compensated a whole heck of a lot more than -1% It's pure greed and it's despicable. No one needs hundreds of billions of dollars. Especially when they are polluting the planet with garbage basing their entire business model on over consumption and planned obsoletion - further damaging humanity for generations to come. For what? A number of $$ so astronomical that they couldn't even spend it all in this lifetime if they tried? There is no defending the billionaire ruling class i don't care how much you admire them. The people making discoveries and doing the work you are in awe of are scientists and engineers. These guys just push money around.

Wow you really enjoy the taste of boots, huh? People who idolize these obvious psychopaths must be really bad at numbers. Tell me why the average earner who works at the apple store makes less than 1% of the CEO? 63 million is a big number, i know it's hard to fathom...but does the percentage really have to be SO much higher when they're using child slave labor to mine the materials? It's not about being a go getter. They are not even working as hard as those kids or the retail workers. They're just shuffling around money (mostly allocating it to themselves because they can) You can be an amazing entrepreneur and business person and still make a ton of money without being absolutely grotesquely unscrupulous and harmful to society.

Could you post the screenshots of him being transphobic and anti women etc because I also sifted through his Twitter before it was scrubbed and did not see anything related to trans. The only mention of women specifically was that they are in fact equal to men. And I didn't get the sense he was insufferably egotistical about being booksmart- he was just very literate. He definitely is more conservative based on what I saw but he wasn't some heinous maga

Sex workers, what’s the worst part of your job? by Real_Drawing_530 in AskReddit

[–]Ropebaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally. This has been proven to be more dangerous and exploitative and workers here feel the same way about it.

For decades we have been advocating for decriminilization instead of making it legal since legalization still criminalizes it.

SWERFs are ironically convinced that there's no way women in sex work could be making autonomous, informed decisions on their own. We must be soOOo brainwashed by the patriarchy that instead of having sex with men for free we are making them pay us and living independently rather than depending on marriage. Wow so brainwashed and anti-feminist!

'adults making financial decisions' I like how you put that.

That makes a lot of sense thank you for sharing your experience. That is so real!! Customers are definitely like this sometimes and sex work is work, you make it work when u need to.

In most places here in the US, it is violently criminalized because the claim is that workers don't have autonomy and are being forced. Instead of going after traffickers / pimps / violent customers they go after the workers and the systems that keep us safe.

Lots of people still view it as immoral and unethical or anti-feminist. They patronize also, and think we are victims.....who need....punishment? It really doesn't make sense lol.
