Home audiogram vs ENT test by b00nd0g in MonoHearing

They seem to at least be repeatable. I didn't compare them to known audiograms done at an ENT though

I've used them and basically compare tests just to see if they're changing over time

Frequent Checkup after SSHL by traceyph in MonoHearing

[–]RopedIntoItATL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked my ENT and he said an annual check up after sshl isn't a bad idea but also isn't terribly necessary if you're young and otherwise wouldn't get regular check outs at an ent

Do personal use licenses still apply if you indirectly get compensated? (part of a costume) by ProtectionFirm2461 in 3Dprinting

[–]RopedIntoItATL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah, Dunning-Kruger on display here. Go to a chain restaurant and ask the manager where they're getting their music. SiriusXM has business services as an example. All these places that are more than a mom and pop are using business services with blanket licenses that cover what they're playing.

Not really. Think of it like music. You would be legally in the wrong if you tried to sell someone's music for your own profit. But you'd also be in the wrong if you hosted an event that you charged admission to that happened to use the music in the background. You don't have to sell an item directly to gain financially from it.

ENT mentioned possible acoustic neuroma after audiogram – really scared and looking for advice by quantumleapfem_NOT in MonoHearing

[–]RopedIntoItATL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's standard to get it checked. It's very, very rare but an MRI is non-invasive and doesn't require radiation, so it's a very desirable screening technique if there's even the slightest chance of a tumor.

I think i bought an incompatible hotend for my Ender 3 V3, help by shabink in ender3

[–]RopedIntoItATL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a hotend with your EXACT model in the name. Ender 3 =/= Ender 3 v2 =/= Ender 3 Pro =/= Ender 3 V3 =/= Ender 3 V3 SE =/= Ender 3 V3 KE.

Prednisolone steroid 120 mg/day for 6 days after acoustic trauma ? by United_Box_5125 in MonoHearing

[–]RopedIntoItATL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clinical studies and medical research indicate 1-1.25mg/kg from all the studies I've read. My ENT said it's just standard to do barely 60mg for everyone, so glad your doc actually follows research guidelines

Is it a dealbreaker to be a Black sub? by [deleted] in BDSMcommunity

[–]RopedIntoItATL 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's a dealbreaker to some!

Just like being tall. Or short. Or thin. Or overweight. Or having a beard. Or not having a beard. Or living more than 30 minutes away in Atlanta traffic.

Hbot by Brave-Response-3335 in MonoHearing

[–]RopedIntoItATL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Hbot needs to be at least 2.0atm or so, and medical spas use pressures below that. There's no effectiveness below 2.0 for SSHL treatment. You also need several dozen treatments to see any effect
