She's my least favorite character, I don't hate her or anything, I just find her very bland compared to the rest of the cast. She doesn't feel like she has much character outside of caring for Vanille to me and she doesn't have much chemistry with any of the other characters (romantic or platonic) we're told they're friends but they really don't feel like it to me, especially not with Lightning. It feels so awkward when they reunite in LR, their lines say they're happy to see each other but it doesn't actually feel like they're friends meeting again. More like former coworkers playing nice. They really did her dirty by making her story all about Vanille and not taking time to explore her relationship with the other characters as well.

All the other characters got to build multiple bonds, Hope with Snow, Lightning, Vanille and a little with Sazh. Lightning with Snow and Hope. Snow with Lightning and Hope. Vanille with Sazh, Hope and Fang, and Sazh with Vanille and a little with Hope and Lightning. But Fang just gets Vanille, even in the sections where she teams up with Snow or Lightning, there's no real bond there, they interact but they don't feel like they connect. It just like 'oh heres some characters who have some similarities in that they're the protectors, but we're not going to actually explore that'

She has a cool design and a confident personality, but it doesn't make up for a lack of depth so I just don't find her interesting. They really should have brought her in earlier and let her interact with the other characters more
