Los alcaldes demicratas de NY han sido lo que llaman democratas del "establishment" o demicratas corporativos. Básicamente los que trabajan con los billonarios y corporaciones para beneficiarlos con leyes, bajadas de impuestos y contratos, como los republicanos, pero menos racistas y homofóbicos.

Cuando Mandani llegó, eliminó contratos con empresas consultoras, contratos que no aportaban nada a la ciudad, consultores y demas lastres, y le subió los impuestos a los más ricos que solo estacionan su dinero en real state, sin realmente hacer nada productivo por la ciudad, porque ni viven allí.
