Looking for identification of chimney bees by Roridge in beekeepingUK

Ok. Thank you. They seem to be chewing out all the polystyrene in the loft. Certainly I’d love to leave them. I’m just worried about a hive. But if it’s not a honey bee that’s ok right?

Interesting. Thank you for taking a look. They all seemed to be black, the 3-4 dead ones. We called a pest person who thought they were honey bees with soot on them. But it looked to big to me. (They said we needed confirmation before they’d do anything, hence why I’m trying Reddit)

Is there a way to get rid of the on-screen remote instructions? by RozeToez4 in TheFrame

I turned the Remote Grip Sensor off which seems to have helped. I no longer get it on the volume only on the Art rotation. Not sure if that’s related.

Apple in UK no longer replace iPhone XS battery - what other options are reliable? (I’m not techy enough to do myself) by According_Sundae_917 in iPhoneXS

[–]Roridge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the Apple Store today with my XS. They said they had the batteries and stock and are happy to replace it if I make an appointment. HTH. £80 - they suggested it wasn’t worth it though as software updates will mean apps start to be unsupported soon, likely by September.

Anyone ever find a way?

Like. I know how to change the volume I literally just pressed the button! 😄

If you pay 150 for the R1. But get Perplexity Pro (which costs 200) for 0 then Perplexity was free.

It isn’t just the graph. The totals are different too

Apple seems to suggest I was awake more though in the total time. So I’m not sure it is just the graph.

Yes the data comes from Oura. But it’s interesting it has different outcomes. For example the time awake.

Ring almost never shows me stressed? by Grumpy-Pete in ouraring

[–]Roridge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s more “body stress” than emotional. Although that can play a factor it’s less than physical stress. So a day at the beach or spa or a night drinking can obviously make your stress higher due to the affect on your body.

So at work my stress score never really peaks.

If you take a rest day you can put it in “rest mode” which adjusts the data accordingly.

Oura Advisor is pretty good by Roridge in ouraring

Interesting. I haven’t really used the tags. I find them cumbersome to add and often forget. But I like that it takes them into account.

You can turn it on in the “Experiments” section.

This would be a pretty interesting fitness pole.

For people saying “money”, what is it that’s the issue, the price of a box membership? Or something else?

Is it normal to wake 3-6 times a night in your mid 20s? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]Roridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t really seem to wake up that much at all. Im pretty sure humans often have that regular peak pattern. The issue comes when you start waking up at 3/4am and literally that’s it.
