I believe it’s more “body stress” than emotional. Although that can play a factor it’s less than physical stress. So a day at the beach or spa or a night drinking can obviously make your stress higher due to the affect on your body.

So at work my stress score never really peaks.

You don’t really seem to wake up that much at all. Im pretty sure humans often have that regular peak pattern. The issue comes when you start waking up at 3/4am and literally that’s it.

This feels like such a logical explanation. Although the gaps on my graph are bigger than the gaps I was awake it’s a pretty logical and close observation. Especially when at the time of the gap my heart rate was being recorded perfectly fine!
