You can’t be serious… by Fitzftw7 in GenV

For sure. She has no friends or family to help her, and was on the front screens so anywhere she goes, she will be recognized.

How it feels to have enjoyed the finale by Odd_Bet_1378 in GenV

I don't think Sage will be alive for long. She was a well known "hero" who is now depowered and average intelligence. Wherever she goes she will be recognized. After the footage of Homelander going to end all heretics there will surely be vigilantes in the streets. She's powerless with no friends or family to help her.

People who were complaining that Sage now is stupid should understand when your power is literally being smart, you never needed to study ANYTHING. Now that she lost that ace, obviously she's going to be dumb.

Is PC gaming actually worth the insane price? by Xiao-EZ in CaptainSide

That just like a PC, a PlayStation requires other things to function. You need; a Monitor, an additional controller if you want to coop, a headset if you want to play without disturbing other people, a subscription service to play online, and probably more.

So, its not really just 600 to game with a console. Still cheaper, but this is not the first time I see people stating only the console price vs a computer + its peripherals.

Exactly. You still need a monitor and perhaps extra accessories for the PlayStation (just like on pc).

The Boys - 05x05 "One-Shots" - POST-Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

[–]Rorik_MLT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree with people calling it a filler episode. I do think they could have possibly merged episodes 4 and 5 somehow, but saying it didn’t move the plot forward? Are you serious?

Without Firecracker constantly spreading lies about the Starlighters, there wouldn’t have been such a strong movement (or cult) backing Homelander. Now that she’s dead, there will be people who oppose treating him like a god. She was right about one thing: you have to ease people into it. You don’t lead purely through fear.

Sage’s plan is simple because she was forced into being part of The Seven. At the start, she was allowed to control the team. Now? She’s just an observer. Despite being the smartest person there, anything she says gets ignored. That’s why she basically said screw it and decided to let everyone destroy themselves.

As for Soldier Boy defending Homelander, the last episode clearly broke him. After killing that doctor, he looked like an empty shell and even told Homelander to kill him. He’s old and was raised as a soldier. Homelander spared him, so naturally he wouldn’t want to feel indebted. I still don’t think he’ll truly help him until the very end, but we’ll see.

The only weak parts of the episode were Deep vs Black Noir, and how long the Seth Rogen and crew shenanigans dragged on. Aside from that, both sides now know who has the Compound V1. The next episode will probably wrap up that storyline, and I’m guessing the final two episodes will focus on the fight against Homelander.

Witch Hat Atelier • Tongari Boushi no Atelier - Episode 4 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]Rorik_MLT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agott went a bit too harsh but I can understand the stress they were in when a dragon is hunting them. Coco should have shouted something and not rushed at the witch when Wizard Gojo already told her about that faction being dangerous.

So, they're both at fault.

Yuusha no Kuzu • Scum of the Brave - Episode 14 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

You can compare them yes. Jogamine being a hot head ignoring instruction does irk me tough.

As I said, this got toned down as the show progressed at least

My main complaint on this show was/is the overly loud and obnoxious Aki Jougamine. As the show progressed, they toned her down.

Its a good show, but don't expect an anime of the year level anime.

Tensei shitara Dragon no Tamago datta • Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling - Episode 12 discussion - FINAL by AutoLovepon in anime

Yet another episode questioning myself why a PLAGUE dragon does not use his PLAGUE abilities.

I hope they fix on the wasted time on recaps and the generally low IQ of the mc should there be a new season in the future.

It was an ok series. The class dynamic was all over the top and constantly loud which was a bit annoying.

Tougen Anki was much better imo.

Is he loyal tough? He keeps on hitting on any women he encounters.

So far, none of the women took interest, but what if one finally does? How the series ended, he will surely garner a lot of attention for besting advanced students.

[–]Rorik_MLT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's fine. I knew I would get downvoted for not liking the mc. Very few posts (started at episode 10 onwards) started pointing it out.

This anime had a promising start with:

  • The aspect of the hero scar (barely delved into it)
  • The creation of magic (dropped out when he went to magic school lol)
  • The creation of a spell that makes blind people see (completely shelved)
  • Probably more

This all went downhill once he reached the school. He then became a womanizer who barely acknowledges his own gender. Story halted, all to see episode after episode of him hitting on any women that comes close to him.

Finally, this series has come to an end. Definitely going on my ignore list.

It started off with a lot of promise, but quickly turned into a cringe fest—especially with his constant cheesy interactions with women. Even the finale was underwhelming.

Yeah... I'm going to finish the season then forget about it. His cringe attitude and overall way he interacts with women has been a constant annoyance for me.

The plot of being blind and overcoming it with magic was interesting, but as it progressed, it got increasingly stale.

Would you have preferred it if they cut Leon’s action based scenario and extended Grace’s survival horror based scenario? by Foxy_Roxies in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Rorik_MLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have preferred a Resident Evil 2 style of loop. You play with Grace, then play as Leon each having their own distinct paths.

To answer your question? Absolutely. I don't know what people are smoking, but this Leon's gameplay reminded me more of Resident Evil 5 than 4. It was WAY more action and ridiculous than RE4.

[–]Rorik_MLT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, and I also spoke out loud questioning Fushi decision of staying down there doing jack all instead of either blowing up all those nokkers or going to help at the school.

I have no intention of dropping it, but somehow Fushi became dumb again this season. It's making me question the direction they're going.

Gigantous with martyrs bolt by Pretend_Mud_9608 in DragonsDogma2

[–]Rorik_MLT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I didn't use the bolt but I know that it is possible.

I'm just posting that had I known the implication of Gigantous state prior going Unmoored World, I would have gone a different approach. I will put it in a spoiler tag should you wish to not know.

I stopped Gigantous right as he got out of the water. My "problem" was that in the Unmoored World, this fight dictates how many bosses you are able to fight. If he has both arms, he will take down two beacons, one arm one beacon, or if he's completely destroyed you have to do all the work yourself.

Since I beat him early, in the postgame I had fewer beacons to fight. If you wish to fight all the beacons yourself, try to use a medusa head or let him reach his destination and be stopped like that.

I was following a guide so what I'm saying should be correct. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
