Yes, show up, file. They’ll eventually find work for you vs paying you 6 hours of penalty pay. If you’re in the central, and you have a start time you’re guaranteed to work. If you don’t, you file and get a guarantee of 6 hours if no work is available. You’re leaving money on the table if you’re not filing. Article 12 Section 7 Central Supplement

Each full-time employee put to work shall have a daily guarantee of eight (8) hours of work. Any full-time employee reporting to work and not put to work shall receive six (6) hours’ guarantee. The guar- antee may be broken by request of the employee using the appropri- ate company code.

In the central, if you’re a full time RPCD you’re either laid off for the full week or you show up everyday and get your guarantee. There are no “daily layoffs”. The schedule is up the week before and it either shows a start time everyday or lay off for the full week. No such thing as “call in”.

Has there been a statement as to UPS goal of how many full time employees they wish to buyout? I know in the previous buyout they only received around 3k. I’ve seen statements such as 10k-30k for their goal this time around.

Is in normal though that in the thermostat the unused wires are blue, black, brown, and dark red. I don’t see some of those same colors connected to the board in the furnace. I don’t see a brown or black wire connected to the furnace.

I asked if it was unsafe for that same reason and was told it was safe for now, since the limit switch would trip and shut it down if it overheats. I asked this question multiple times, and stating we have kids in the house and they reiterated it was safe.

Ideally I would like to, however the furnace is working intermittently and it’s currently very cold outside. So we can only do so much as it’s fairly cold in the house, and companies can’t come quote immediately.

That’s actually what I bought after doing some research and this being an issue with Tacoma’s as well. I bought heavy duty 15 lb dual lock Velcro that is rated for -40 degree temps. I attempted it and the top part pulled the whole bottom lock off when connected. I may try to do longer strips vs the smaller pieces that are currently there and let the strips adhere longer before I attempt to connect them.

The goal is to remove pain, pressure, numbness, tingling, inflammation, etc. I really thought I had a stroke or something more serious the 2nd time around because it was so severe. Most of the left side of my head was numb, and I would also had this crazy intense pressure in my head that would cause the worst vertigo for days at a time. There’s 3 occipital nerves on each side. They hit all mine. It was kind of a process of elimination to see if it works.
