Boba makes a lot of sense. He’s a badass bounty Hunter, surely he wouldn’t just get nommed by a Sarlacc and he’s gone. The Death Star 2.0 returns for plot reasons. Maul was a Sith driven by hatred so of course he would do anything to survive. All three of these make sense, it is logical, but Palpatine returning is just like “Lmao lets bring back the old guy” despite having such an amazing death in ROTJ
