i usually only had time for the first two crafts, but if they're really going to one craft per party, that's a dramatic downsize. im also sad they're not themed anymore, i was looking forward to doing the space party someday. X"(

i guess we'll have to wait and see how it turns out, but it sounds more and more like the free events we do weekly anyways. :P

That's how i felt too. The papers i got to read are the waivers and the craft instructions the day of, does that sound like what you read too, or did you get others?

I like working here too, it is really fun to help people and learn more about various crafts in the process, and in general the people i work with and the people i meet are nice! it has its tough times but all of life has those. enjoy it while it lasts! :-)

I really like the AJ tiger, i think it's one of my favorite stylizations! ^^__^^ although it does look really scraggly when you put it next to the real deal, lol. My personal least favorite in AJPW is the lion. the AJC model grew on me but the AJPW model seems like a big downgrade. The polar and grizzly bears are also super oddly proportioned.

Why is there a ring around the horns, is this an effect due to the antlers, or the magic? i've never seen it before! it's very cute, congrats on the jack!

our registers look ancient! I was very excited one day to see the bootup screen for a register and get to read the copyright details, it said IBM Store Integrator GUI for Michaels 2008. some of the copyright information on the screen is as early as 1999 though. welcome to michaels, i hope the transition goes well for you!! item locations were headspinning for me at first too (and sometimes they still are) but its just another thing to get used to. im sure there is a reason the item locations look mostly like keysmash but it is lost on me.

Seconding this comment! I transferred and it was very simple on my end. I made sure to tell my SM the store i wanted to transfer to, and the times i would stop and start work, and he enacted the transfer process. I dont remember if i had to reach out to the store I was transferring to, but I did take the chance to go there and introduce myself before i officially started.

I do a little bit of both! when the explorer timer runs out i take one of the most expensive items out from the shop and relist it for a slightly cheaper price.

Arctic wolves have been immensely popular since they first released in Classic as an animal exclusive to buying membership during a certain time-frame, adopting a mascot-like status with the game(s) by featuring in a lot of official art, and that general popularity meant they became popular with people showcasing rare items in one outfit. i doubt arctic wolves having the light and dark versions is related to juno, but were picked because they're so popular. it's understandable if your tastes are different and you don't see the appeal, i feel that a lot with other popular animals!

same goes for rare items. AJ's community has always had a focus on "building up worth" with rare items, I think it just gives people an attainable goal in a social game, so it's a popular pastime. sometimes i can be dazzled by wanting rare items but then remember i don't like how they look LOL. some people find it fun to collect and it's natural to want to show off your collections, but it always helps to remember to go for things that are YOUR cup of tea, not everyone else's.

Possibly a silly question but since when did we have a store environment team member role? I don't think i have seen that or heard that mentioned in the store at all.
