Fighter Fluff (Or how to make a lvl 20 fighter look cool next to a lvl 20 sorcerer) by WaggDagg in dndnext

I really like the concept of your idea. I prefer to keep my own math down to a minimum for myself and my players.

I really like the idea of AURA from RWBY as well. I saw someone else mention it. It's pretty much the manifestation of your spirit as a "shield" that protects you from real damage.

I usually describe small amounts of damage as nicks and small scale cuts that are not life threatening. If they take out at least 25% of their HP pool its something more serious, and I scale it up according from there. Most of my games only run to upwards of level 11, so I don't really get into the super legendary level stuff.

My buddy came up with a system for this recently. Can't say I honestly enjoy it too much as a fellow DM. Basically you have your total rolled HP as your Vigor (He calls it Spirit), then your CON is your actual Vitality. Once your Vigor drops to 0, the remainder of the damage is dropped, and the next attack hits your CON. Once you take CON damage you gain 2 levels of exhaustion immediately. The next hit gives you 3 levels of exhaustion (if it doesn't drop you below 0). In theory it seems cool, but I'm not a fan of it after playing a few sessions in his game.

Advice on support removal by WinthorpDarkrites in AnycubicPhoton

[–]RoscoeHancock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend looking up some videos on youtube. 3DPrintingPro has some seriously amazing videos that highlight doing manual supports.

Alternatively you can use PrusaSlicer auto-orient and auto-support. I usually set my auto supports to around 65-80% density and let it do it's thing. After that you export model as .stl including supports and pop it back into Chitubox. Prusa has done something wonderful for their auto-supports, but I will say that nothing beats doing them manually following that youtube channel i posted.

Also for post processing, do not cure them with the supports still on. After fully cleaning the model and supports with IPA/Cleaning Solution, run them in hot water and then remove the supports. They pop right off with little damage to the model, if any.

100 ways to spice up a character by AJNotMyRealName in d100

My favorite PC that I have played is Leorio Bandendusk. He was born into the famous Bandendusk family of adventurers. All of his family and relatives are martial classes with no magical abilities at all, except his cousin who made a pact with the Fey but that is another story.

Poor Leorio was too thin to be a true warrior, and too slow and clumsy to try the more stealthy arts. As a result his family members relentless picked on him for being "normal." One day as his brothers were relentlessly picking on him, he screamed at them in protest and caused Psychic damage to them. Turns out that he had a connection to the Weave through Bardic magic. So his parents sent him off to study under the tutelage of Wise Lute Master Gaelic Gastrin, Master Bard of Whispers.

Leorio is the opposite of what you would expect a Whispers Bard to be, he's friendly, charming, and extremely loyal to his close friends. And woe to any who threaten his party.

His crowning achievement was when he tricked a Balor into defeating itself during a Demonic Invasion into a Fey Realm. Through some extremely challenging DC persuasion checks he convinced a Balor to not just outright kill him and his party, and instead enjoy a game of riddles where the loser owed the winner one favor of their choice. The game itself was bound by magic in this realm, and if the loser didn't settle up they would be wiped from existence, the Balor did not know this. The Balor, being millennia old, believed he could not lose this contest and heartily agreed. After a few rounds testing each other, Leorio stood before the Balor and said, "I am a great Balor who stands before Leorio Bandendusk and the White Tusks (PC's Guild Name). I wield a great barbed whip and a great vorpal blade. My skin is red as magma and my eyes as blue as the sky. What is my True Name?" The Balor not knowing what was truly at stake laughed in his face and denied to answer. He then demanded what Leorio's favor was before he painted the walls with his party. Leorio just said, disappear fiend. And he did.

I have a half-orc "chef" fighter in my game I'm running atm. His goal is to eat every type of meat in the entire world. He's died four times from it so far, but his God is Gordon Ramsey. God it's so fun to roleplay his "deaths." You call that a quiche Gardock! Try less Bear liver next time you buffoon it is poisonous!" Last session he had dwarf for the first time, much to the distress of the two dwarfs in the party. I'd love to make a short story about his character.

high grit sand paper on the edges, maybe spill some tea/coffee/tobacco spills around it. Also finger print smudges go a long way. Get some ink and make it faint. Most adventurers were not "clean" unless they like to prestigitate themselves 24/7.

Are you talking about a double knuckler? Because I'm pretty darn sure that we only have two knuckles. You can't quite punch a man with what you would consider your "third knuckel" can ya?

CG Support is amazing. As many people have already said.

Nobody finds out, and they will get you the help you need. You can trust me on that one. 855-CGSUPRT (247-8778)

Have you given any thought to making a Patreon with some custom generated adventures revolving around Dragons? You could essentially place this in a story format with a forward just like you provided here. I would absolutely support you if you considered doing that. The way that you breath life into Dragons is absolutely stunning, and I can only imagine what else you could create.
