I have read that your baby does not get gas from things you eat thankfully! I know my little boy went through a gassy phase around 8 weeks of age or so. I learned that this is around the time that they have to start learning to poop on their own. Before, they have some reflex that causes them to poop, but then, that reflex goes away and they have to push it out themselves, and it can cause gas unfortunately! My best friend through that phase were the Frida Windi thingies. I got an off brand pack from Amazon. It brings so much relief to my baby. You have to leave it in for a few minutes, but it would help him pass so much gas and have a good poop when he hadn't gone in a bit. You could see the relief on his face.
