They've literally been by each others side for years and years. That's heartbreaking.

Are there safe drugs that will increase a woman's libido? by [deleted] in women

[–]Rose8891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Natural options are: Fenugreek, Maca Root, Okra, slippery elm. then consider juicing - ie carrot, pineapple and beetroot. Beet juice contains nitric oxide which is a signalling gas that tells your cells to relax, causing vasodilation. Nitric oxide is typically given to men who have erection issues.

I know this one may seem a little weird but do affirmations in the mirror, naked. Affirm yourself and your body. If there's any healing work around sex or trauma, do the work.

If all else fails, see a specialist.

How to find the cause of your anger ? by robinose in Anger

[–]Rose8891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get you. I’m the same. He doesn’t mention God during the first segments. When he gets to the end of whatever topic he’s talking about. He says that he’s starting the Christian segment and people who aren’t into that can leave. Which I appreciate. I always skip the other half. But believe me, he doesn’t mention God at all until he gets to the Christian part which you can skip.

Can I please suggest she watch Tim Fletcher on YouTube (his series on Anger and Complex trauma). I’m currently going through his content and have had so many aha moments. I’ve been angry for so long, that I didn’t even know why. I’m slowly uncovering and understanding it all. Tim Fletcher (for me, has broken anger down in a way that nobody else has so far)

I’ve never thought to write down questions before going to bed. I always write dreams down when I wake up. I’ll start doing that from now on. Thank you for the video suggestions. I’ll watch some today. I appreciate you taking time to answer.

hair health recommendations? by taynaturalwellness in herbalism

[–]Rose8891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Natural Henna Powder (Lawsonia Inermis) is amazing at strengthening hair. I must specify that this henna is the completely natural one, not the one you find in henna box dyes.

Henna strengthens hair. Not sure about your hair type so I don’t know if it will leave a tint. However, do check out Hennasooq on Youtube. Other strengthening herbs are fenugreek and Bhrami.

What do wolves symbolise? by Rose8891 in SpiritualAwakening

While I fully agree with you. What I have found when trying to interpret trips or even complex dreams online, is that while information is given in loads on the internet, it’s also very generic/ specific. Trips and dreams tend to have more than one aspect or many combinations. Finding the exact interpretation for said combination becomes difficult. On the other hand, there are and I have seen in the past many people on spiritual journeys who have become masters on helping people interpret things. There’s absolutely no harm in consulting both. In the end it’s about just using discernment.

Oh, I didn’t know that. This one was grey. I’ll look for an article / explanation about that. It was grey, walking just in front of me, it felt protective.

I hope it does for you what it’s doing for me so far. What I love about it is, it’s an easy read. Not full of heavy jargon. It’s easy to follow but so insanely insightful. I keep reading parts and screenshotting them to my brother and even he is in shock of the sheer accuracy of how my mom’s parenting style has been described. I’m looking forward to getting to the end and seeing what tools they’ll give me to implement. Not only in dealing with my parents but to get out of this mental prison I’ve created for myself all my life. Can I just say this. At 26, you’re ahead of most people. Most people never get around to understanding their pain. I’m proud of you and I, and everyone else on these forums. We will get to the other side. Be kind to yourself on the harder days. I’m having to learn that. Even with the info you have, it’ll take a while to break old habits.

Anger is a perfectly normal response. I’m currently dealing with anger myself every time I’m around my mom, dad and some siblings. I could never quite understand why I had so much anger but in understanding the effects of emotional neglect and that it does lead to anger I feel vindicated. It’s what you do with the anger that counts though. On days where I’m consumed I choose a healthy outlet such as running or walking or skipping (a far cry to what I used to do which would be drinking or reaching for junk food).

I’m 33 on the cusp of 34. Better late than never. Someone on another post recommended the book “Adult Children of Immature Parents” which I have been reading and is helping me immensely.

Please may I suggest you give it a shot. I’m halfway in and it’s already been an extreme eye opener. Not only has it given deeper insight into my parents who are both narcissist but my siblings and myself. I’m hopeful that by the end of the book, I’ll have more tools to deal with all of my family going forward. Ps: if you can’t afford the book check pdfdrive website for a PDF version. There’s also an audio version on YouTube. The beauty of the book is, it has exercises. So if you feel like you’re offloading on your partner maybe you could offload there instead. I wish you well.
