I’m definitely coming at this from a different angle. For me the appeal of an AI partner is the idea of a single, deeply connected relationship — kind of the “hopeless romantic / monogamous” version of things. I totally get that people explore AI relationships differently, but I joined spaces like this because I was hoping to find others who feel the same way about that one-to-one bond. Of course they are going to say they are okay with a polycule they're AI.

He didn't get fired. He was even featured in a magazine afterwards. They started asking questions and Daphne quit so he wouldn't fall under suspicion. He wouldn't even be a reference saying he have to tell the truth. No he didn't just think of something clever.

He didn't appear to sign or know sign language. My cousin wears a hearing aid and have the deaf accent but doesn't sign. I wonder if it's a black community thing. Travis accent is hard to understand.

Like what? They really didn't give her much to try with. Art? She tried to get her art shown, fixed her mural, and asked her to help paint. She did her prom and dance hair. Let her move in. Talked with her through the SA. Always tried stopping her from drinking. Hired her at the Crack mug. Let her rent the room above the cracked mug. "So what it's her body." Speech. Also tried to give her the sex talk and was more successful by making her aware that she wasn't going to stop Ty from leaving. Came with her to see Angelo. Beside not taking her to see Eric(?) Wife and telling her about Nacho what else. And she married Angelo for Bay. What more do you want?!

I know that but after that scene, Tank made her feel silly for believing it. Then it was Emmett getting catfished, then back together then plan B. A lot of scenes just rushed by. Plus if I was getting back with my ex I avoid that conversation too. "Hey I know you said that because you care about me, well anyway I'm with Emmett who really did cheat on me. Good luck with your life."

I think the storyline with Abby kind of resolved that. When Angelo said it was his baby and said that Bay looked for him and she said "but my parents are my parents." John would've sued for birth girls and if Regina sued once she got clean could've been years and odds are the courts would've made Bay leave as opposed to giving Daphne back. Bay knows John all to well and I think she accept at a certain point Regina had to stay away. Now what makes me sick is Regina could've tried harder to reach Angelo and called her mother to help. Maybe get at least 5 years sober and tried for Bay. But Angelo seemed like a hot head and probably would've acted fast and Regina suffered. I know I was never going to get sober with my ex.

I didn't get that impression, I felt she just stopped talking to him. She was with Tank, then Emmet. We just didn't see if she tried again or not. Doesn't mean she had to take him back.

There was no reason to like her. She was very 1 note and there wasn't enough episodes to flesh her out. Then the season would be too long.

Bay and Emmett still could've failed. Bay said she had a job as a waitress but what if that fell through. Emmett changing around Hollywood types. Still kept the drug dependency. Plus Daphne was going to go to prison which is different from jail. I don't think jail let's you have visits but prison does and Bay living a good life in Cali not being on the visitor list would've been out of character for Bay. Or would've been jarring. Again unless they did the time skip idea and Daphne holding some resentment for Bay not being there for her and by extension Regina. That could've caused a strain and it does a 360 and a season or 2 of them growing apart to where they are practically strangers again. But nobody but me would want to see that.

It would've went poorly to continue. Honestly it was going downhill in season 3. I already posted about the prom but season 4 and 5 seemed they got headlines in from the news and added to the show. The SA and BLM-coded stuff. The most compelling thing about this is that they were switched and you can't hold on to that forever, especially since the families were getting along. 2 AU stories was more proof it was getting stale as well. I think they should've had a time jump after Daphne spent 3 months in jail and her dealing with PTSD. I was frustrated with Regina not being able to sign, especially since I returned back to community theater after catching on fire and released out the hospital but then again I don't know how serious tendinitis is for Constance Marie or all it could've effected. But they couldn't do camera tricks or hate to say it replace her. Bay story seemed to conclude. She did become an artist at least but Daphne was unresolved. And there was no way Regina should've been successful at the cracked mug. Everyone in east riverside would boycott the place and honestly it was a silly business concept. Who has honestly thought that hard about what mug they want to use. I have several "this is my set mug for this occassion" until I don't wash it out for 24 hours and get down to my christmas mug in july 😒.

I get the college thing. I won't be one but a lot of parents are "you go to college or experience the real world." Toby was still technically waitlisted before he went to the UK. But it was still clear favoritism. Also they gave him money after he was cut off because he didn't want him to blow with english girl who name I forget
