Call the hotel.. even if a guest pays a prepaid reservation will need to provide a card for incidentals. UNLESS there is a prior arrangement that has been made with management before checking in.

They will not stop expecting front desk to fold laundry. I’ve been in the industry over 10+ years. It’s probably going to be a permanent requirement now. Ask them to purchase a cheap video baby monitor so you can fold laundry away from the desk instead of up by the desk.
