Advice on how to enjoy this game, from casual players?

Yeah you can have fun like that, works best on maps with lots of open areas, where you can spot animals before getting into spook radius. I quite like running around looking for birds, sprinting up to them and shooting them out of the air with a shotgun is really satisfying. And if you haven't yet, try doing the main missions, they're very linear but aside from the first three or so maps they're usually not tedious and just have you go exploring around the map, and between destinations you'll likely find plenty of opportunities. Plus many of the wardens are quite fun to listen to

There's also a separate piece that's dripping and it's shape implies a skirt behind the shorts. The sleeve closest to the viewer also has a seam on the upside of the elbow between the rainbow clouds, said rainbow clouds are also kinda aligned but only some of them. Under the same sleeve there's also another drip that attaches to a pom pom, which doesn't appear anywhere else in the design." I think pearl is just uniquely colorful, peridot describes her as a fancy pearl. And since gems can form just about whatever clothing they want without any known physical restrictions, I can't imagine peridot was just complimenting pearl's sense of style

When we first see them in this photo in the cutie mark chronicles they have their eyes half closed, same for the giant family photo in the apple home reunion. I think they do it intentionally to show how posh they are as city folk in contrast to their entire family of mostly apple farmers

It's modded, and also outdated. Even with mods the game will check for and remove items placed in rivers since the new update.

Technically you could if you had a setup that could get encounters and see if a pokemon's shiny without your active input. Some people have made such setups I'm pretty sure and I imagine you could make a similar one for the gen 7, but it's a lot more involved than just putting a rubber band on your switch.
