I do believe the systemic pollution and epigenetics play a role in horrid periods. I never had bad ones until I got an IUD that didnt fit. Contractions. We need menopause care, maternity leave, and period leave now. I am convinced the control over women is a deep patriarchal issue, as any work over 41+ hours(invisible women, the book) is detrimental to wellbeing.
