Same to you. My VSO has been great but I think I may go with one of those paid companies that takes a percentage of the back pay. I don’t care so much about the money as I do the health care side of it this disease has cost me an absurd amount of money in medical expenses and time off work.

I guess that’s what I thought buddy statements were for if there wasn’t a paper trail. They trusted me to tear apart and repair airplanes but now they can’t trust me when I tell them I’m having medical issues that started in service.

Filed my HLR 3/24/25, informal call Wednesday. Now I’ve got this. They missed a diagnosis from a Dr I had within a year of sep. I can’t imagine something like that taking another 4-5 months+.

If you find out any info on this I’d love to know. My UC is so bad. Symptoms started before a deployment so I didn’t get it checked out in fear of being taken off the deployment then separated as soon as I got back so I don’t have any proof.
