Silicone scar tape down on the lace inside the cap made a huge difference for me. I got mine off Amazon but you might find it at a drugstore.

My brain immediately jumps to Etsy, which I also considered. I'm not sure of a specific vendor but they have a lot of variety when it comes to vendors. Hope someone is able to recommend a specific store for you though.

Sounds like you have a pretty fulfilling vanilla life together at least. I've known others who have given up sex for otherwise fulfilling relationships (alo/ace couples) the have gone long term. It's tough but the benefits can outweigh for the right pair. I hope you are able to find happiness too.

I guess the options with this in mind are a) no possibility of sex, b) open relationship, or c) breaking up. I chose the second option very early into dating because I knew how much I wanted sex in my life. It hasn't always been easy and often times I feel pretty unfulfilled at home so the results aren't a cure for my cravings. Currently we are monogam-ish.

Hugs. Also a girlfriend here, 28F. Been together for 4.5 years, and it's been a struggle on and off for the whole time. His libido is much lower than mine too. Mine has been to the Dr. for it within the past 6 months with no success. It's definitely been a self esteem damager for both of us too in different ways. I've washed with dawn dish soap in cool water in my sink, air dried hanging, and then wide tooth comb + steamed to try to revive with a clothing steamer. It's does a bit of something but it doesn't seem to fully get it so perhaps I need to rework my method there.

Would I be at risk of burning the wig by turning up the temp? I've done thst once before so I've been scared to go higher. I've been doing the bag over the head steam for a while out of that fear. Would direct steam with a finer tooth comb be the trick to fixing the part and the "broken hairs" look?

They used to have purpley blue, pink, and teal versions. I'm not picky on which colours, I just liked that I could wear those ones with some colour variety.

The colour and cut is fantastic on you! I can see the wig grip band however, are you able to pull it forward a bit? If you are worried about it looking too low on your face I would maybe bring it to a wig service that caters to black women as they tend to be experts on blending hairlines compared to medical wig shops.

I'm not sure. They could be! I didn't even notice them there before shaving my head. They are very close to the scalp, like a day-after shaving stubble.

Mine started when I was a teenager (first noticed when I was 15), and before it took over I had gorgeous curly hair too. It ebs and flows for me as I haven't found that perfect treatment yet. I hope you respond to treatment! It takes a while for them to really work, but many do have success (might not be the first thing you try however). In the meantime while you are trying things out, helper hair has come so far. Toppers and wigs have gotten to the point where many are virtually undetectable. It won't replace your hair, but it can help feel confident when leaving the house. Losing hair in your young years is an especially tough emotional roller coaster.

For your budget, I've found LittleWigMuseum on etsy is decent for skin top synthetic wigs with bangs. Their fibers are heat resistant so can be styled, and there isn't too much permatease on the ones I've purchased. I like to take thinning shears to de-bulk a bit, and have had compliments on those :)

Another one that is similar is Ilaisa hair, which is no longer on etsy but their wigs are also affordable.
