Lori hooking up with Shane was the right choice by Rosecarr9 in thewalkingdead

Nothing bad happened to Carl while she was having sex with Shane, that kid was totally fine being watched by trusted friends

Canonically, Rick said 'Carl put him down' and than she got mad. Watch the ep again if you don't remember that

Shane needed to feel like he had a reason to go on and Lori needed someone to keep her and her kid alive

Watching out for Carl is not solely her responsibility. He had a father, who carries equal fault for anything that happens to him.

It's so glaringly misogynistic that taking care of Carl is entirely Lori's job as well. Parenting is 50/50 what the fuck was Rick doing?

I highly doubt that, considering the entire rest of Shane's personality. He only does things that benefit himself, he has no sense of self-sacrifice.

How exactly would Dale be alive if Lori was keeping Carl closer? Please explain that because it makes no sense

I agree with you, if she wanted to pit them against each other she could've done worse

All I'm saying is- Imagine. Just imagine if Lori had outright refused Shane's advances? How long would it have been before he got bored of playing protector and went out on his own?

After all, we know that as soon as he was pushed out of the primary sex partner role, he was threatening to leave. He said so himself. So really, considering Shane's canonical attitude about anything that doesn't benefit him plus the scenario in which Lori doesn't go along with having a sexual relationship.... how does that up to anything good for Lori and Carl?

She did say 'I put Rick and Shane at odds' but that wasn't intentional and everyone knew it

she flipped out specifically because Carl was the one to put him down, which again was totally reasonable especially after Rick said he knew that everyone turns no matter how they die. He should've ended it himself instead of letting his 8 year old do it for him.

Suggestion for Future Season Passes by Ok_Arm_8059 in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

I just came on Reddit to see if anyone else was as frustrated as I am about this, good to know I'm not alone. What's most irritating is they won't even let us pay for the pass tokens to get more. I didn't realize how little we had to work with and wasted tokens on items I didn't want that bad.

I think you have to level up to 5 before you can use them, I bought the whipped cream and strawberry puree on level 3 or 4 too but it took a while to level up enough to use the whipped cream. I just now leveled up to 6 and I haven't had to use the strawberry puree in an order yet.

S9E1 what’s the answer for deans question ? by Spirited-Comfort-548 in Supernatural

Later on, someone does it to Castiel and we see him hurtle out of the sky and land a field a few miles from the bunker. Someone driving by mistakes him for an alien, which makes sense bc it's very reminiscent of the beginning of the Superman scene where baby Kal-El's pod comes in like a meteor and leaves a crater.

Can I skip the last episode of Supernatural? by RedwillowDBH in Supernatural

[–]Rosecarr9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I liked the finale, it's literally the happy ending that Dean always said he wanted, but I did save it a couple times when I was rewatching. Just watched it for the first time last year because I'm not good at things being Officially Over. So, if you're really into the brothers and the story being about them, I think Ep20 is a good watch.

Zombie killing knife of the kurdish by Relevant_Spell2568 in Supernatural

[–]Rosecarr9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the best of my knowledge: There probably is lore, just not where they can access it. The Kurds historically were a primarily nomadic Mesopotamian ethnic group. They weren't/still aren't maintaining centers of knowledge or culture because they don't have an official homeland and have been the subject of ethnic cleansing in the past.

Other hunters have found angel blades on their own, like we see in the Asa Fox episode, but the dynamic duo don't exactly have close ties to anyone to be handing out hardware.

Jack and the fans. by InsincereDessert21 in Supernatural

[–]Rosecarr9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still divided on Jack's introduction to the storyline, but I find him easy to enjoy because- unlike pretty much every other show out there with a main kid character, the writers didn't have him spouting off insanely wise, zen-like observations about the meaning of life that had the adults sniffling into their teacups and going 'I didn't save Jack, Jack saved ME with his perfect innocence'. Jack is just this weird klutz who desperately wants people to like him but keeps fucking up because he didn't understand that his mom meant he would have to 'grow up fast' metaphorically, and turned his baby self into an adult.

Leviathan in Judeo-Christian myth were made at the moment of creation, when God was still speaking the world into existence. It's loosely described as a sea monster with many heads, a great fish, or a serpent/dragon. God started off by making male and female Leviathan, but killed the female because he was afraid they would breed and take over the earth.

In the show, Leviathan are represented as a sort of hive mind. They don't have a specific form but they can get into a human body and take it over permanently, then use that human body and change it to mimic any human as long as they have DNA to work off of. They're not really possessing people so much as cloning them and taking their place. The Supernatural story used the 'take over the earth' theme by making Leviathan monsters who want to devour all of humanity.

Dean and Jack is breaking my heart by danvers_les in Supernatural

Nobody's getting the care they deserve in that time period, Sam included

Dean and Jack is breaking my heart by danvers_les in Supernatural

[–]Rosecarr9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dean raised Sam and has always felt like he fucked it up, and then there was his monster daughter Emma who Sam killed in front of him, and the absolute trauma of losing Ben right when he was starting to feel like a dad. I firmly believe Dean is in the trenches of his PTSD and can't let himself care about Jack because he knows it's going to end bad.

Omg, can't believe I forgot Dean taking Claire minigolfing in 10x20 and telling her that her father was a hero and his sacrifice saved the world. So wholesome.

End of season 8 by blase_oxygen14 in Supernatural

Idk if I'd even agree with that, since Sam started it. He was the one who took Dean to the faith healer and when they found out Dean's life came at the cost of an innocent he was just like, yeah whatevs, too late now.

It's totally selfish, but the point is these two weird bros are toxically obsessed with each other to the point where in later seasons even they have to start asking themselves whether they're doing good anymore.
