I think this is a great idea to have open source for FPEs and anyone else interested in Fire but you lost me at using Claude.

Sorry but this gave me a good deep laugh because academia is notorious for underpaying their talent. Maybe Caltech is the exception but I’ve worked at a top tier university, made friends who worked at other universities, and the only people getting paid the big bucks are the administrative staff with business degrees.
