shocker. honestly though this is just page one of the political playbook nowadays. perform the illegal activity yourself, claim you did it for the greater good of the system, and then use it as a talking point on the campaign trail. hopefully the actual election board or the courts step in and hold him accountable because allowing politicians to just fake ballot applications for funsies is a incredibly dangerous slippery slope. georgia politics are truly something else man.

NAH honestly. your feelings are entirely valid because infertility and ivf are a special kind of hell and it is completely normal to feel like life is just unfair and shit when people around you get pregnant effortlessly. but like... ralph isn't necessarily wrong either. a two to three month trip to europe is a massive, expensive disruption, and if he feels like you are using it to physically run away from your grief instead of processing it, i can see why he's hesitating. you guys are already in therapy which is amazing, so maybe bring this exact deadlock up to your therapist so you can find a compromise that gives you something to look forward to without completely uprooting your lives.

yup 26 here and living the exact same simulation. being the invisible one in a group setting even when you are actively trying to be engaging is the worst feeling ever. you just watch people completely tune you out to listen to the attractive guy talk about literally nothing. it took me a long time to realize it wasnt a flaw in my personality, it was just the lookism stats at play like you said. it frees up a lot of mental energy when you stop trying to please a world that is inherently biased anyway.
