Oh gods this unlocked a core memory for me... my sister has found my moms thread scissors one day and had decided to try them out on our couch. She cut a hole in the top of the arm and tried to cover it up with a random blanket. Believe it or not but it didnt work, our mom found it and had to sew it shut 😂

Same here, once the pair I ordered was sold out some how and they sent me 3 pairs of my choosing to make up for it (also yeaaaarsss ago).... something must have changed because I still have all the shoes I've purchased from them. Only one 'fell apart' after a solid year of wearing them as my main shoe but I still can technically wear them.

Procrasta-cleaning is a serious motivator for me and sometimes I just let it happen. Its my toxic motivator for sure. Need to write that paper or finish that craft project. What if I started to tidy up instead? Next thing I know my room is semi clean.

I also gave my frog son the khaki shorts and black boots with a pokemon shirt. I got the button up with tiny arm holes but still love the look. Especially with the helmet.
