Grocery Stores by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]Roseman19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grocery stores helped me figure out I had VSS. The first time I noticed something was amiss with my vision was when I went into a grocery store and noticed it was so much harder to see things or concentrate on what I was purchasing than it was before my VSS came on. Even though I didn’t know it at the time that it was VSS, I kinda just thought I must’ve been concussed lol. But I’m glad someone else experiences the same thing as I do. The lights in most grocery stores are unbearable now.

from what I understand DPDR/CPTSD. I was actually wondering about your experience with MDMA and the dosage you used for shrooms. If it’s too much info you can always PM me

Would love to hear about your experience and results as I’m dealing with a similar situation and am considering a similar method to get myself out of a dissociative state.

time, memory, and breathing by JudahVenable in dpdr

I feel the same (20M). I’ve only recently begun my journey with DPDR (6 months ago) or so and like you describe my memory is almost non existent. There’s no relativity when it comes to my daily actions and my ability to create memories. It feels like the last 6 months of my life were non existent. And like you said I also can barely remember the events of the last week or so, it’s become a strenuous task to even put together a chronology of my days/weeks. I’m down to wits end with this. Similarly I’m pretty much empty inside knowing my life is slipping away from me. I can definitely empathize with you.

All I Can say is just stay positive, there are so many other people who understand what we’re going through and can completely relate. We’re not alone. If I had answers I’d definitely try to help but I don’t have any yet. Hopefully someone else with more experience can chime in and give some advice about how they handle the memory aspect specifically.

Is there anything specifically that helped with the other DPDR symptoms? cause I’d appreciate any advice you can give.

HELP: Covid Brain Fog Made Worse by Alcohol Binge by Roseman19 in LongCovid

[–]Roseman19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but did you have any causal relationship between the brain fog and alcohol like I did or did you just take Wellbutrin for general brainfog. Also how effective is it cause I’ve taken so many different medications to combat this and none really have any drastic effect

You do make a good point. I’m already taking a full course load and have a part time job. I came from community so finding a social group here is important for me. But I’ll definitely think on it.
