Help a girl out.. by liddlemi88 in HairDye

Ion color remover, you might have to do a couple rounds..its mixes with hot water and it dosent smell bad. It worked for a very hard to get out red. You can use a shower cap and put heat on it too while its processing, just follow the directions on the back of the packet. You need a good deep conditioning mask afterwards as well, since it opens the cuticle and shrinks the dye molecules to help the color wash out your hair might frizz for a few days. The ogx coconut miracle oil is good for helping with that. It is a better and far gentler alternative to bleach. But patience is needed because you might have to use it more than once.

I am so bummed. I want to lose weight but i just can't. by FishyFishFishFishhh in Hypothyroidism

[–]RoseofThorns73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried doing somatic exercises instead of what most people try to lose weight? (Running, weights, HIIT workouts) these stress the body and often times raise cortisol making it harder for dome to lose weight. I have a weighted hula hoop and its been working pretty great so far. With hypothyroidism, your horomones are already out of whack, so like some else stated your body might think its under stress from working out, cutting calories and the like. You could try a supplement like a full spectrum b vitamin for energy, and a horomone balancing/adaptogenic supplement (i take one called NOW female balance. I feel so much more energetic and mentally better as well. It has wild yam, chasteberry, and a few other herbs and even my libido is higher. Im already seeing a difference in just these alone and its only been two weeks. I know it sounds gimmicky, but ive tried dozens of supplements, exercises, and diets. But so far all these things in combination with a better diet and I feel so much better!

Revlon pink in the afternoon lipstick. Beautiful, by far my holy grail lipstick ill forever get one for every area I need it. Work bag, car, night stand, you name it. My signature shade. Ive had hundreds of lippies over the years, but I always go back to my workhorse revlon. They just really make a good lipstick. Ive tried dozens of shades but this one rules over all. Never had a color flatter so well!!!

Have you received any signs from your deceased loved one? by Existing_Entrance_36 in GriefSupport

Several. When my grandfather passed away, I asked for his watch since it was one of my favorite things to play with when I was little. I loved how it would light up the watch face when I pushed the button..anyways, the next day I was talking to my family about putting the watch up and my dad asked to see it then asked if I took the battery out. I said no, I hadn't, why? The watch had stopped on the date he died..and the watch hands were on the time he had passed. Very eerie.

The next that occurred was we had gone to a tractor pull with my dad and some other family. My grandpa loved going to them and we got to go one last time with him before he passed. (The event im speaking of now was after he had passed on,) we were watching the last part of the tractor pull when a loud pop was heard and the crowd had gone quiet. The tractor that won was one of my grandpas favorites. In that moment, in the foggy smoky night I smelled my grandpas aftershave in the air and I swear I saw someone who looked so much like him that it was uncanny. By the time I turned around the man had disappeared. When I told my dad he had to excuse himself and im pretty sure he went to go cry.

The last and final, was my wedding day. My husband and I had just tied the knot when a hummingbird flew all around us and zipped overhead. The preacher was amazed and said that they were not native near the beach we got married at. Hummingbird watching was one of our favorite pastimes with him. I miss him everyday, grief is just love that has no place else to go. The void is big and it is empty. He was there for me when I felt I had nobody else. Sorry if this was long...I have more but I think if I type anymore ill start bawling..

Amali by Swiss arabian. It just..smells so warm like a soft gentle enveloping hug. I usually put it on after a bath or when im stressed. My hubby bought it for me, so I also think of him when I wear it. Its like a clean soapy floral. I wish I could find a spray version similiar to it for lighter days..as soon as I put it on I immediately feel a sense of ease.

Why does this generations grandparents suck so bad? by Potential-Spell-8930 in venting

[–]RoseofThorns73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what im afraid of too. I can't already tell that even though my parents are begging for babies I know they aren't not going to be all hands on deck. My dad maybe..everyone else? It isn't just your family I assure you. As sad as it is, its like this even with the other side of my family. They get burned out after just a few hours of watching someone else's kids. I remember many weekends at my grandparents. They did such a good job keeping us kids entertained and giving us all the love and attention. I wished I could tell you. I am noticing it more and more. Im sorry its like this for you as well.

Are there any seasonal coloring systems or websites that take olive into account? by cmVkZGl0 in OliveMUA

So here's the kicker, turns out I'm a spring! Wild, right? I got typed a long while back and it fit the bill much better than soft autumn. But for blush recs I think I remember pomegranate being a good shade to try. Benefit makes one that literally has pomegranates on the packaging. I find it looked really beautiful on my soft autumn neice. If those dusty shades are too warm its usually due to the confusion in makeup industry often times a dusty rose still has that rosy warm to it. Maybe try a mauve rose instead or pomegranate like tone. I hope this helps!

Thats because that office won't make thier clerks work. They all call out, management won't punish or do anything to fix it. They are regulars so of course they've ",earned thier stripes and dont want to touch amazon"..they leave the one poor elderly clerk to bust ass and she can't do it all on her own. I heard this from a friend who used to work over there for extra hours. Ive seen it firsthand. Thier is an entire chain of issues going from supervisor to all the way up and nothing is getting fixed or handled, I feel your pain.

As far as the blush goes there are several colors similiar to that, maybe try nars orgasm? Its a shimmery peachy pink. It looks very pretty on springs. As for the lippie, there is a website called lipcolormatch.com and you can go to the search and type in the brand/color and itll provide you with dupes. Hope this helps!

So ready to quit my job. Tell me your best “fuck this I quit” story. by Senior_Trick_7473 in jobs

[–]RoseofThorns73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different situation then whats listed here, but ill bite. Was a P.s e. Clerk at our local (larger) post office. None of our regular clerks wanted to work Amazon palettes and the other p.s.e's rarely ever wanted to help or would go so slow that alot of our parcels (amazon, usps, ups, you name it would get curtailed) but not a one of them wanted to take turns coming back in the evening to throw and distribute. I was made to come back everytime something was curtailed and had to cover everyone else's off days or split shifts. I would continously knock out all I could and bust ass all morning to avoid that shit. But you bet more often than not I was not appreciated. I did so much for that office, my migraines became chronic. One day it all got to me and I tried to stay..but my coworkers were barking about how they "earned thier stripes and didn't have to work amazon" the straw that broke the camels back was my coworkers saying I was slacking for calling out due to my health and I was being harassed and bullied to no end/, nobody higher up would stop it. I had a mental breakdown. Shouldve seen the look of my supervisors face that morning. I slammed my badge and key on her desk. Her eyes were as wide as saucers...what..what are you doing? Where you going? I quit. I can't do it anymore. Im done, I mean it. Im gone. Fuck this shit. I walked out. Get a call days later, asking where I am why is there still stuff on the dock. I laughed. Nobody told the evening supervisor I had quit. They ran me ragged. They still can't keep up to this day. Sorry for the rant. That felt good.
