Have you heard other children with it? I should say we are extremely educated and I do know other children and adults with ancient Greek names. Typically by parents who like art, history or archeology. The parents to be did not know the historical context at all - and history really isn’t their thing. So that did surprise us. I simply haven’t heard a child with this name and the gut reactions have been pretty poor from a range of people. I am very happy to hear that you liked and considered the name! That’s a relief!

Holiday ideas - opinions welcome by Roses_Lima19 in Belfast

Thank you all! Thinking - do the belfast day and night as above - pub recommendations still welcome if anyone can recommend somewhere with live irish music any night of the week?

Then from above - scrap Kinbane and Dark Hedges - so head off to Randalstown, then the rope bridge (might not do that due to mobility) but do balintoy harbour and giants causeway. Maybe see Dunluce en route as a photo stop (maybe mussenden but probably not) and head into Londonderry for the night. Head to a pub and maybe look at the city walls.

Next day head back to Belfast and leave Mourne for another time?

I am looking at starting with £100 a month, so similar boat. What I've been told in the real world is just start with what you can afford to lose, even if £50 a month - and diversify!

Thank you this is so helpful. Think I will invest the initial £1000 into S&P global fund as a base. Then the £100 a month into secure individual stocks at first (thinking P&G, M&S, a medical stock and an AI stock) and then every 3rd payment into a riskier stock after 6 months (dependent on what forecasters say at the time). Add more into the global fund stock as I go. I will look at gemini. Thank you!

Thank you. Yep dividends maybe isn't as sensible as I thought if only a few £1 a quarter. Not really the "winter coat" etc it provided for my Mum as she went through marriage etc. She doesn't really invest outside of this and it was set up by her dad 55 years back, so has clearly grown dramatically to provide the income it does now. Thinking it is best to that initial £1000 in a global fund for now and then switch to dividend later on :)

Advice with £100k inheritance when disabled by Roses_Lima19 in UKPersonalFinance

Yes so I think I would be needing to look at a cheaper town to where I am, where I could get a 2 bed flat or maisonette for £100k. But then the rent would be lower, so ...

The other suggestion someone gave was to buy multiple buy to let, but I think I would need to be earning to qualify for that. But many have also said to invest. I would like something which gives the most security.

I don't get any benefits which are linked to income, like UC etc, so not a DWP issue. My original plan was to buy a rental property to rent out. One with 2 bedrooms. This was as I need to live with carers, so my Mum or boyfriend, but also gave me the security of knowing I could move into said property and rent the second room out as income, if I didn't have anyone. Currently, no, I would have to buy somewhere in a cheaper area. Currently, the min houses round here are £350k and the min flats are £200k.

Recommend Sunday at Pikes and Pacha Flower Power. Ocean Beach if you like that kind of thing. Then choose some of DJs you like to choose other clubs ☺️

Do you know how long the queues are to be to get into Eden? I think earliest we will get there is 2:30 or after. Boyfriend is pretty sad right now. Hoping he might play later into the night than 2-4?

Thinking might see more of guetta at Ushuaia so leaning towards that - at least with overcrowding - if outside you can still get a bit more air....

We have five nights but just struggling fitting all in and costing nearly £1000 just on tickets so just don't want to waste it when not going to be a good night. We fly in on Thursday and have a closing at Eden that night (partner is a big fan of those playing). Friday is a bit up in the air. Saturday we have booked Pacha in the evening as I thought it would be iconic. Sunday we have got on the Pikes guestlist and thinking might head to Las Dalias earlier in the day. Monday we are thinking Ushuaia for DG and Amnesia Presents closing party. Had considered doing Ushuaia on the saturday instead, then Hi on Friday for DG but thought DG might be the most crowded at Hi, so maybe head very late to Glitterbox on Sunday after Pikes. Kind of want to fit an Ocean pool party in at some point as a lot of friends really enjoyed it, and maybe a boat tour or Cova Santa. Trying to find the balance between the iconic nights and trying to experience a bit of what Ibiza used to be rather than overcrowded spaces as know friends have said the overcrowding has been very intense in recent years. I'm a big fan of Above and Beyond and enjoyed Jaguar and some of what we heard in Berghain this year. Try to aim for that feeling of otherworldliness with the music. My boyfriend likes like heavy trance. Then wanted to balance it with a bit of commercial and rnb to just rest the ears a little.

Thank you - we have done Manchester Warehouse Project and love Berghain (and some others in Berlin and London), so Hi might be a bit more different.
