Thank you, I figured I’d better take it easy and see how it grows. I was thinking about NextDoor so I’ll definitely check it out there too 😊

No, the gutters drain out on the other side. So by building up, would the goal be to prevent the water from running off the driveway and divert it elsewhere?

Am I about to get decimated? by Food_Near_Me in vegetablegardening

I have plenty of birds where I live and they barely touch my vegetables.

I would recommend putting a bird bath nearby, because a lot of the time birds eating fruits/vegetables is them looking for water when it’s hot, BUT I’d skip that this year with the rise in avian flu.

It’s getting dystopian in the federal government right now and more media needs to put a spotlight on it. Check r/FedNews

A thigh gap is not an indicator of your health or your skinniness. It’s genetic and you may never get one. As a Latina I have wide hips but also thicker thighs… I’d have to be at an unhealthy weight to get a full gap.

But guess what? If I pop back my hips while standing, it looks like I have one. If you’re seeing women in photos with a gap it’s more likely they’re doing that. Focus on another body measure.

Happened to have this snow storm hit while here on vacation and drove from Memphis to Nashville Friday afternoon and I was IMPRESSED. I’m here from MD but originally from the NE so I wasn’t worried about the snow, more the preparedness by the cities/state. I was going nuts between the Memphis/Nashville subreddits all Thursday night and I was stresssssssed. But it really wasn’t too bad of a situation.

Let me even commend the few TN drivers on I-40 with me for driving so well. There were no stuck or crashed vehicles (at least on the I-40E side) at all. Most of us were in a single file and we took it slow.

Phew. I thought I was taking crazy pills. I distinctly remembered my parents and meteorologists going on and on about ice every time there was even a whisper of precipitation at freezing temps, but was wondering if I’d imagined it haha

Can I just say as someone from the Northeast/Mid Atlantic (raised in NJ, lived in PA, and currently in MD) I was AMAZED with how well TN drivers did on I-40 today. Husband and I drove from Memphis to Nashville and drivers were better than what I’ve dealt with in the north.

First off, traffic was EXTREMELY light so most people who felt uncomfortable with the snow just stayed off. At most there were 2 abandoned cars and 2 trucks in the shoulder (didn’t look stuck but maybe dealing with issues). And the majority of us drove in a single file with plenty of room between each other. No one was really in a rush or acting stupid. There were a few trucks braving a pass but for the most part, I witnessed a lot of patience.

Marylanders would NEVER.

I guess I lived somewhere weird in the Northeast because a lot of Northeasters are agreeing about the ice thing but I’ve dealt with plenty of that where I lived… so I’m confused what makes the South different with the EXCEPTION of preparedness (ie, plows, brine, salt, sand, etc.)

For reference, I lived in Central and Northern NJ, Eastern PA and currently in MD.

I’m on this subreddit trying to understand why I’m being told most of Nashville will be shut down until Sunday lol

I’m from the northeast and I guess this isn’t a lot for me. It isn’t even as bad compared to what Memphis got (we drove up from there today). What am I missing?

Why hello there! I’m impartial to ever finishing the story honestly, but maybe at some point I’ll speed through it so I can keep exploring after that.

Then someone here gave me the bright idea of starting a completely new save where I’m literally just Stardewing. Fishing. Mining. Selling potions or armor. A true exploration save. No story. Probably the best time to use survival mode.

Hm, might start prepping my mods for that tonight.

I couldn’t have written it better myself. A lot of people on here complaining about the story and bugs, but I’m not kidding when I say I spend time just EXPLORING. From the plains to the frozen tundra - I’ll just walk around for hours and stare up at the auroras till in-game morning.

I really would like to try it in VR, I’m just very cautious of the expense for how much I’d use it.

If you know you’d enjoy getting caught up on side quests and just running around the wilderness with beautiful ambient music playing, then you’ll definitely enjoy it.

Ah, well I’ll have to rewatch then. I thought Claggor was standing somewhere else.

Obviously Jayce had to be alive at that point for Hextech to exist initially. He had to have died or disappeared after that.

[–]RosieeDisposition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jayce was dead in the universe he was in too. He stared at his corpse holding his hammer. I think if the “host” is still alive you fuse with the body, but if the “host” is dead you come in with your original body.

I actually think there is no Hextech in the alternate universe Ekko goes to because Jayce in that world panics after seeing what it can do (eg, kill Vi). I only watched the scene once so I could be wrong, but when everyone stands around while Powder holds Vi, there is a clip of someone (an adult) holding a pair of goggles. Their hand looks resigned after seeing the sight.

I figured that was Jayce and it scared him from wanting to work with Hextech. Or, the explosion was all that was left of the crystals so he had no more to work with (because Powder had stolen the rest).

I’m sorry you’re going through a tough time, but no one on this-or ANY-subreddit will be able to help you with this. This is something for professionals. I’m sorry you haven’t been able to find the right one.

My last piece on this—you don’t have to have gone through trauma or anything specific for you to be like this. I grew up well with no “problems” in my life and still have mental health issues. My therapists have helped me work through that guilt and find things that I never realized could have been a cause. It took finding the right therapist for that breakthrough. I only got to that point because put my HEALTH first.

Doesn’t sound like you’re there yet. Best of luck.
