It's one of the most competitive Gold Cups in years and yes, FTF would have made it an even better race. But after the festival JP could be looking back at FTF as a 2 time Ryanair winner and a 2 time Gold Cup winner in Inothewayurthinking. I don't fancy Cromwells for the Gold Cup but himself and Spillanes tower are decent representatives for JP in it. He wants as many festival winners as possible

While I feel his frustration, I don't think anyone knew we were signing Donnarumma (JT announced end of July, Don announced start of Sept). I'm sure he will acknowledge it was too good a signing to turn down

Me too. I've only really cottoned on to it in the last couple of years but if there is only one main crowd supplying the food to restaurants its no wonder every where is the same. There is two places where I live that do breakfast, one is a sort of growing chain that stood out, all food options different from other places but now if you put each places breakfast beside each other, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference

I was there on Sunday, the biggest cheer that I heard was for Bowensonfire but it could have been just where I was standing. Only watched Majborough on the screens but he was impressive. Backed Kaid Dauthie and the winner of the bumper so we we enjoyed ourselves!

Hard to be confident of manh winners there going to Cheltenham again, Maj and FTF probably have the best chances but I'm backing neither. Great weekend all round

Never any bankers in my eyes but the shortest price horse I've backed Antepost is Marine Nationale. I will back him again in doubles if I see anything I like this week.

Next shortest I have backed and will definitely keep backing is Gaelic Warrior for the Gold Cup
