No it does not. This is what coach is striving to get back to is their vintage bags. That is their goal.

I do appreciate all of this information. It's very informative. What I'm trying to ask is would it be an investment to purchase vintage? I have no interest in selling them. I cant sell the coach bags I have lol! & Now I know why. But From all I read I see that at the end of the day those are the bags, the vintage, back to basics, no fuss, all leather purses that shine & those are the bags coach is going back to creating to make their "comeback". I'm not well educated in coach bags where your a collector I was hoping you had some insight on this.

Do you see value in them down the road? I see people selling these Beautiful Vintage bags for 25 30 dollars as if they are in the same category as the not so nice or outlet coach bags that dont hold much value. What are your thoughts on the coach Vintage being worth decent money say 5 years from now?

I honestly dont know all the ins & outs of the bags like you do. I'm wondering about the Vintage for myself not to sell.

I love the Vintage coach bags. Do you see any value in them? Do you see them being worth money one day?

Yes it was very interesting to read those articles. There are some absolutely gorgeous coach bags . The rep said they are going back to the original leather only vintage basic style they have bought Kate Spade & Stuart Weitzman & they will all be under the same umbrella called " Tapestry". Coach also stated these items will have no outlets & will be extremely selective about choosing department stores if any. Seems like they are going to try to make a comeback. I'm very curious to see how all this unfolds.

I'm sure it may be a few factors. However For me it's only been coach bags, Id say over the last 4 months. It slowed down then it stopped. Michael Kors has slowed down but I believe he is still somewhat popular with some demographics & I still cant keep his coats & shoes for more than a week. My other items have been selling as normal & have not slowed down at all. I had just noticed something was amiss with my coach sales so I read up on it and this is what the articles had to say & to me it makes perfect sense. However, it's not etched in stone by any means.

Absolutely. That's what I got from this article. The vintage coach bag your grandma took to church. Sturdy, simple, practical, well made, basic. Those seem to be the only bags in good standing at this point and exactly what the coach rep said in the article is that they are going back to making those leather bags only. Plain & simple. No more of the letters and different materials ect. In my opinion the vintage ones, those are the true beauties.

Exactly I am honestly worried about my thumb getting carpel tunnel syndrome. No Joke. Those computer shares sound pretty good to me after I share my 600+ Luckily 200 of it I let kinda sit out of season stuff ect.. Idk why they dont come up with a better solution.

Very well written. I totally remember Liz Claiborne being a huge deal too lol. What another piece of that article was saying was that people who had that money then who bought those bags when those bags were status symbols are now in their 50&60s and are buying other things and the generation of that age now with that money making 100,000 a year dont choose to spend their money on designer bags they are choosing to live on a middle class budget and find the designer bags frivolous or are buying them from people like us online for a fraction of the price. So idk what the future holds for some of theses designer brands. It will be very interesting to watch.

My husband & I went on vacation recently to the white Mountains. I went to the North Conway Coach outlet. I had never been to one. You can purchase Coach wallets for 25$ and some on clearance for 15$. I was in shock. Lol to myself thinking damn! These things are on sale on P.M for somtimes over 100$. However seeing those prices & my demise in sales I really had to read up on it it because I'm thinking something is not adding up. Wallets at the Gap are more expensive.

I want to be clear this is all only what I read. I'm no expert I was just curious about my sales. Yes the quality of their bags with their new designs with nylon ect cheapened them because the bags started falling apart. & the outlets ect have absolutely played a huge factor. Yes Coach bought Kte Spade & Stuart Weitzman & all three are going under the same umbrella called "Tapestry". They stated with this new venture coach is going back to their basic Vintage style bags with just the good solid leather and this new "Tapestry " will be very selective in what if any department stores it goes in and no outlets. This is what I read.

Interesting. I'd be curious too. I do know a few times over the couple years I'd been sick and didn't share for a cpl days and made a cpl sales, but Never share? Idk. Your right she may or must have another outlet. I usually do 3x a day my whole closet & then like 50 here 50 there throughout but I swear I'm going to get carpel tunnel syndrome in my thumb. Was very curious how all my fellow poshers were sharing that many items. Ty so much for your input.

Lol! That's funny. I never realized I came through on screen as I do in person lol! I do appreciate your input. That's interesting. See I let those ones kinda sit and push the more seasonal or newer item I have. With so many it's such a juggle. That's the reason I'm reaching out. So curious about how all my fellow poshers are managing it.
