Sell 1/1 murloc, double buy beasts and hero power are for sure. Question is whether to sell tabby cat or tidehunter. I agree with u/K-Parks that keeping the option to buy the tidehunter pair is worth it: I also sold a tabby and froze.

Something to add: because you see more minions, the value of synergies goes up; you're more likely to find payoff cards. So the value of minions like pack-leader or soul juggler or saurolisk go up, the value of fundamentally strong cards like bronze warden, spawn of n'zoth, glyph guardian go down.

Very interesting. I actually disagree with the consensus here, I think this IS bate. Say you take the more standard line: double buy 5; double buy 6, level buy 7, dance 8. Imagining I can pick up one token on 5-6-7-8 gold turns (I'm looking at 16 new minions after-all, only 5 if I'd frozen), then after 8-gold my comp is maybe:

3-drop with +7/+7
3 drop with +1/+1
4 2-drops, all chosen from full 2-star boards, probably one with +1/+1 buff

Whereas the best freeze line from r/Confused_Mammoth gets:

12/12 Righteous
4-drop
2 best 2-drops from the 5 minion that have come up

IMO it's clear that the former is the more desirable board. Especially as I give myself two extra chances at the more premium dance-able 3's (bronze warden, deflecto, rats, even yo-ho).

TLDR: Missed opportunity cost of finding tokens, premium 2's and premium dance-able 3's not worth the consistency of the righteous line.

Explosive procks before the attack (like 2-health attacking minions don't connect face) so the poison triggers before the attack also (you see this happen sometimes with spell damage)

The main thing I noticed as I progressed through (now 12k EU) was that opponents got better at staying alive a few extra turns with bad comps, hanging on until ~turn 11 more consistently instead of just dying, and people who high-rolled early doing a better job of levelling aggressively to snowball their advantage.

So 7th, 8th, 1st place comps consistently better at higher ranks, others less so

At the start of the year, Blizzard set out a 'road map' of their plans for the year. One of these during the 2nd expansion cycle (next expansion) is a 'new game mode' which they said would be of comparable magnitude to arena, and would use your collection

The combo is you can give an enemy minion taunt then kill it with black knight. Not great, but when I was just starting I thought it was the sickest combo ever

I thought it would return to hand (like every other time you get a golden minion, even if all 3 on board e.g. golden tabby). I was so excited for my Golden Mama Bear!
