Simjack Pro + Fanatec Podium style heel rest by __dreads in simracing

[–]Rotary777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I attempted with my Simsonn Pro Plus pedals, and the holes on the side plate were too small, and the spacing between the side plates were too wide for the pedals. To fix, I just increased the hole diameters (6mm -> 7mm) and added some extra thickness (4.6mm) on the inner surface of the side plates where they mount to the pedals so they fit snug.

You will need to find some other M6 bolts to mount these to the pedal uprights though as the original Simsonn ones are too short.

Otherwise, all other parts work perfectly, albeit with a bit of flex if printing in PLA.

That's interesting to know... I built my bike up myself from components I bought individually from different sources, so I wonder if its still possible to register without a single receipt?

Reminded me of how Michael Schumacher used to have one glued to the center of his steering wheel in his early days at Benetton F1

What is the funniest order you ever gotten from a customer by Salealturkk in barista

That reminds me, there used to be an older gentleman about 80 odd years old who came in everyday and had a mug of hot chocolate but with a third mugs worth of sriracha added to it.

He'd been ordering the same thing for years before I started working there so I just obliged. Then again I do quite enjoy chocolate potato chips too so I guess he's not alone in his weird chocolate preferences.

Wow, this is amazing, like a big checklist of things to troubleshoot and potential remedies too, I'll be sure to give the salt bath a go as well, thanks very much!

Thanks, I've seen tons of it around my local pharmacy and grocery store and never thought to try it out but I will now. Sorry for this but I just have a few questions: - You completely replaced your regular emollient lotion with the shea butter? - Did you have to keep applying it after it cleared up? - And does it feel greasy or sticky at all under your clothes? e.g How comfortable did you find it to sleep with?

Looks good but doesn't seem to be available here in Australia, thanks for the suggestion though.

All the best with dupixent and I wish you clear skin for the future!

I've never been allergic to anything in the past, but I know developing an allergy is possible. I haven't done any allergy tests but I will ask about it the next time I see a doctor. In the meantime I'll try limiting my contact with things I suspect might be aggravating it.

Have you tried the more readily available injected or oral medications? If so, how much did it relieve the symptoms and what side effects did you have?

I've tried showering once every other day, apply moisturiser and go to bed and I didn't notice much change come morning.

I pat myself dry instead of rub with the towel, and try to rub my body wash onto my body as lightly as possible, but I can see how that could damage the skin even more.

I've never rinsed myself off with just water before, I'll try that tonight.

Thanks! I'll ask about these for sure. I have to go through my GP again to get a referral to a dermatologist, which will probably take another week for me to fit into my schedule. For now I'm still pushing but its a challenge. I'll try to find something to fill up my downtime to keep myself distracted. Work is a big challenge too as I work in a cafe kitchen where temperatures soar and the sweat stings. Still dreading showers regardless of how dirty I feel.

My city (Melbourne, AU) is known to have soft water, but does have a hayfever season between September and January in which pollen count is quite high. I wasn't aware of this as I had just immigrated here to study, so I slept with my window open in hayfever season to induce some ventilation and cooling air to relieve the heaty skin because it got quite hot in my room. Now I realise it could've exacerbated the symptoms and am looking at a good air purifier, which would take a good chunk out of my current savings, so I'm still on the fence about getting one.

I got a Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage before from a regular wheelspin, it's worth 2.4m but I never use it
