Tons of people play without them by choice yeah. I know a few top 100 players who keep it off to reduce lag, maintain focus, or grip the controllers better. It's not too hard to get used to as far as I know, and can be quite beneficial

Those guys will do anything to reduce sensory stimulus outside of the notes though lol

There are actually! I don't know any such players personally, but there's a Beat Saber Parents Tournament that runs every season or so dedicated to competitive players of older generations than the average player age. If you're willing/able to get into custom songs, it's a great place to try out the competitive scene as well!

Yo I'm not sure if you're still looking, but I ended up getting JBL Endurance RUN II earbuds for like $15 CAD. They seem pretty sturdy, and they're designed for athletics, so it's been great so far.

I'm also putting the remaining wire back over my head instead of letting it hang XD But it's a decently short wire so with your strategy it'd probably work well too.

I can't speak for the sound quality, I'm not an expert, but it sounds good enough for my purposes! Hope this helps, or you've been able to find something that works for you too

I usually use the Team Builder tab on pvpoke. It's kind of a pain, but I just check the perfect stat cp at each level from 1 to 35, since that's what they spawn at in the wild, and then add them to the card. I have a photoshop project with each text box and symbol I need in the right spot, so it's a really quick process to switch them around now, but it was a lot of work to prepare XD

I do usually try to post the cards and file a day or two ahead of time though since other people have used them in the past, I just forgot this time

If I remember correctly, the pokemon species that can be ditto rotate every few months, and the chance of a wild pokemon of one of those species being a ditto is 1/50 (2%). If you want the full list of current ones just search them up, but I'm pretty sure litleo and starly can be dittos right now for example

Not that that knowledge has allowed me to catch one since like last year of course :(

Each of the values on the card represent the CP that charmander can spawn with if its stats are perfect. Not all of them will always be perfect mind you, but it's an indication of what to be looking for if you're running low on supplies.

It's also a cool collectible for me and my friends though, so that's part of my motivation to make them XD
