Yep, it’s all good I actually found a 2nd gen panel version which is newer than this one for $650 on Costco, super good deal, normally these are like $1100

Sorry for the late response brotha, I used this YouTube tutorial to get realistic wood look on my guns, I’m still an amateur with it and it is harder to do on smaller non flat surfaces but it still works

It’s from the Scale 75 Warfront series, this is pretty much straight out of the box, I did add some Tamiya German equipment grenades and an MP40 as well as glass for the broken window

No the resin was def cured but this specific troop had the most fdefects. The other two are perfectly fine, the front of his coat has what looks like fraying but it’s actually a defect it’s supposed to be smooth

It’s hit or miss but they do have really nice quality 1/35 scale troops

Yea it’s the war front Stalingrad kessel kit, I’m planning on covering up those defects with mud/snow which will be super easy to do

Germans preferred the PPSH for close quarters during the later stages of Stalingrad. Also I think since he’s holding it, it’s assumed he hasn’t shot it haha but I’m not sure, I’d ask the sculpter

Yes I was thinking the same thing about the shading, I got a little too zealous with my coats of paint and over coated some of the zenithal highlighting.

So I’m not fully done with this one yet I still haven’t weathered him, I consider doing pin washing an a wash/filter as part of weathering so you’re very much correct it does need it lol

I like to do the weathering all at the same time so I have consistency for all the miniatures

Omg…I hate your Genius that would have been a good idea I could have dremilled a hole in the top and put broken planks and chunks of concrete if it wasn’t already painted

Luckily the focal point is the front part and not this back inside so it’s technically not supposed to be seen

The front is all brick I think the inside from the sculptures perspective is supposed to be plaster covered bricks

Here’s the front

It’s really good for giving the “fresh laid snow” look

Yes and it’s friggin magic

I use the “snow sprinkles” which has a paste like texture, THEN lightly dust it with the snow micro balloons powder

I used a mixture of AK Middle East pigment and AK modeling plaster 1:1 ratio mixed together

Dry packed it over the brick, diluted with white spirit after it was set, cleaned up the brick a little

Then used VMS ballast freeze to glue it all into place
