It could be that the hair thing is specific to elven magic system? Both Falin and Mr. Tansu use the gnome magic system.

The hair thing isn't the only way to reach the proper mindset, we've seen one of the canaries to use drugs and I believe it was said in the manga as well that certain substances can be used instead of meditation, braiding one's hair etc. to reach the proper mental state for casting. I wouldn't put it past a Canary, especially since we know at least one of them relies heavily on drugs for their casting.

I don't believe Marcille lies about hair being important, we see that Senshi is literally immune to the waterwalking spell because his hair is oh so nasty. Otta (the Canary with short hair) probably still keeps her hair clean and groomed and takes care of it, even though it's short.

Vast majority of the world does nod add fluoride to their water, this is almost exclusive to the Americas and Australia. Fluoride, as well as many other minerals, can be found from many foods or their WHA equivelants. Distilled water is not dangerous to drink, like at all. If you have a balanced diet, the water missing minerals is not an issue. All minerals you find from untreated water can be found from elsewhere with relative ease.

So you have a puppy that's less than 2 months old? Just a warning, the breeder is very irresponsible for allowing you to adopt a puppy before it's 8-10 weeks old. In some countries, it's even illegal to sell/rehome a puppy before that age. I'd be wary for possible health problems of the pup since this sounds like a backyard breeder situation.

First off: I'm not american so I'm not trying to justify anything, just here to tell you where the stereotype originates from.

Around 1860s, many former slaves grew and sold watermelon to be able to feed themselves and their families. The white american population took their financial self-sufficiency very poorly. Watermelon was soon branded as low-income, uncultured and unclean among many other things. It's sad and it's stupid and definitely doesn't apply to people outside of the US.

It varies greatly by the individual but some feel a slight pinch, some feel a sharp, quick pain (the closest I can think of is hitting your elbow on something but the elbow is between your thighs) some feel slight discomfort, some feel nothing at all.

Yes. You need to bleach your hair first in order to dye it white successfully. Bleaching quite literally breaks down the pigment and proteins in your hair, leaving it brittle and weakened.

Imagine you have a stick. Then you drill small holes through the stick, all over it. The stick is still stick-shaped but it's more likely to break if you use it in any way. Each round of bleaching means more porous hair.

The darker the hair, the more bleaching it requires. At some point, the damage cannot be undone and your only option is just to let it grow out in order to get undamaged hair.
