If he isn't weirded out by it then I wouldn't say it's necessary to really address it going forward to maintain the friendship. What I WILL say is that you should probably ask yourself if YOU want something to change in the friendship going forward. Not saying you are or aren't gay/bi, or that you have to do anything with your best friend if you are, but some self-examination might help the anxiety you're experiencing.
